@canadianwild4737 it was the best decision I made, truck rides 100 times better having a bigger tire and the engine sits 500rpm lower at hwy crusie speed
Awesome. I like the full cab height body. We don’t have so many options down in US. I’m in the Seattle area and thought about driving up to BC to get a Brutus body
Hi, are there any lift kit options to fit these larger tire-wheel combo? I have 40" tires on 22.5 and I need to figure out how to lift the truck (2012 F 550). There are no lift kits options at all...For the rear, I can put in blocks but front is an issue.
Absolutely love the truck! As someone who works in the commercial tire industry, I would bail on those tires. They do not last. They are cheap and made poorly. Most of them are rebranded casings with junk retreads on top of them. Get yourself a good set of Goodyear's or Michelins. Yes they cost money but they will last a lot longer.
Honestly, do respect that, so far I have 25,000km on the tires they are wearing surprisingly well, the compound is soft and they perform really well in mud, snow and on icy roads For me I can buy this tire for $350cad, the closest thing in comparison in a goodyear or Michelin is over $1000cad so I could do 3 sets of the blackhawks for the price of one "good" brand
Hub centric nuts are the flange style that just provide clamping force and then the weight of the unit is transferred to the wheel with the Hub / pedestals, it is the strongest available setup and how all newer semi and most 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks are from factory
That looks awesome I was wondering about putting 22.5 on a f550. Thanks
Hey, I live in Grand Prairie Texas
We can’t keep the Sailuns(?) on our fleet of 18 wheelers. They don’t last. Ended up going back to Michelins
Great set up though!
What kinds of issues were you seeing with them? blowouts? Or just premature wear?
Work truck tour please!
Looks good bud I might have to do that
Do you have a list on the truck ?
First off, the truck looks great. I’ve been considering putting 22.5’s on my service truck. Where did you get the kit?

@@BanackIndustriesdid you need to install a lift, or leveling kit?
@@canadianwild4737 My truck is stock height
@@BanackIndustries what was the final cost of the upgrade?
Have you noticed any extra wear on your front end?
@JAB3454 no it doesn't seem to care

Fabtech is the only company I know of that makes a lift for the older generation of f550 trucks, they make all the way up to a 8in

Any issues with the hub centric lug nut? They scare me hauling weight like these trucks
