INCREDIBLE! Even though I'm watching this on one of the 2 contemporary major smartphone manufacturer's flagship screens, I don't think I want to attempt to view this beautiful video on UA-cam's maximum resolution setting (anything above the manufacturer's specs for the highest supported screen display resolution, which is QHD, 3088x1440). Don't want to take a chance on overheating and cooking the internals of the phone. 😊
Also I think they meant they shot the video for/optimized to that. You’re right though codecs and support is needed of that. Still the fallback to HDR is impressive
@@noirth-security I don't think they shot this themselves, and I haven't checked this video in particular, but I remember clicking on some of their older videos when trying to watch in HDR and there was no option, just seems like someone stealing high res stock footage and uploading it and calling it all these buzzwords, 12k source footage would atleast be downscaled to 8k

this is neither 12k, 120fps, or dolby vision, UA-cam supports none of these features, it is 4k, 60fps, and HLG enabled HDR
