Btw, i believe that the reason why Demon1 will not be going to tokyo is due to him not being in the original roster, which he has talked about on stream.
EDG are actively the second seed out of china, but it's fair to call them the first seed since AES relies on Life popping the FUCK off to beat EDG.
Wasn't Life part of edg at last champions? Did he change team or was he just a sub for edg?
@StinkyKraken He was the main duelist for EDG, In an interview he said that it was his choice to leave. During champions Smoggy was their sub - Life got covid and felt unwell, he tried to play vs Liquid but couldn't aim due to the symptoms.

I feel like this is the most even a LAN has ever seemed before it began. Normally it's between like 3 or 4 teams in theory but imo there's like 7 that have very decent chances of winning (FNC, Liquid, Navi, NRG, LOUD, DRX, PRX) and t1 or FUT could get pretty far too

@@fbiopenup760 you realise 90% of the top tier korean players were exported to other regions last year (xeta, saya, munchkin, meteor, etc) so edg versing 2nd rate korean teams means nothing. this year they all came back and so in turn kr got so much stronger but we will see ig

2021-sentinels: couldnt qualify for both masters and champions 2022 and disbanded in late 2022
2021-gambit: runners up in champions 2021, couldnt qualify for both masters and champions 22 and eventually disbanded after lcq
2022-optic: runners up in champions 2022, didnt make it to franchise and eventually disbanded
2022-fpx: didnt make it to franchise and eventually disbanded as org
the gambit was one was unfortunate due to politics. Otherwise, i am pretty sure with the org staff and management they would have performed so good in 2022 and possibly get franchised too
