I lived in Lisbon 1984 and married someone from there, so I visit mainland Portugal every two years. Shame on me for not visiting my parents place of birth. I along with my first cousins just inherited our grand-parents home in Ponta Garca. After this Convid-19, will be making plans to visit with-out a doubt. Planning to use my grand-parents home as my retirement. I'm hearing of many 1st generation Canadian/American people finding themselves going back to motherland or retiring there, can you blame them!

Nasci em luanda, cresci na Covilha, andei um pouco por muitos locais, vivi varias vidas sobrevivi como pude a todas ate agora, vivo na Australia e hoge a ver videos das belas paisagens Acorianas e Madeirences eu recordei que a muitos anos li o Alquimista escrito por Paulo Coelho, pois bem eu acho que eu ja entao sabia que as vezes o melhor esta mesmo ali ao nosso alcance mas tambem sabemos que o devemos aprender por nos proprios, se me perguntarem de onde eu sou, eu nao sei se saberia responder, eu quando fecho os olhos e relembro o passado eu como os elefantes consigo cheirar as aguas das lagoas da serra da estrela gentilmente empurradas pela brisa temperada pela carqueija e pelo zimbro que cresce naquelas altitudes, eu sei que Sou PORTUGUES e se voltace a nascer nao queria ser outra coisa...um especial abraco as gentes acoreanas que conheci em tempos e que um dia espero voltar a encontrar.
