Went from an SUV as main to this one and honestly, even tho it has that cockpit feel. There's plenty of space, got a kid on backseat and he's fine with his chair. It drives really good, the upgrades are a nice welcome. Only issue is the cupholder situation but you can just 3D print one to hang on the glovebox, bam fixed. Honestly it's a nobrainer car comparef to any of its rivals, purely on drive quality. I got the performance pack, it's a stiffer drive but it's fine for me tbh. If you drive this on the 19 inch it's super smooth and also maxes out that range.
@@susand9296 nonono, my performance also has 20 inch wheels, I'm just saying 19 inch is smoother (still quite still) but smoother, have driven a bunch of them. But my own car is 20 inch performance and I quite like it.
Hi everyone, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. Upon rechecking we can confirm that the volume capacity of the Polestar 2 is in fact 407 litres. We do apologise for this mistake and appreciate your understanding, we are always open to feedback and strive for accuracy in our content. Thank you!
Have a 2023 model. So far very reliable. Enjoyable stealth car. Living in the SF Bay Area, Tesla’s rule. Not unusual to see 5 Tesla models lined up at the stoplight . Not hating on Tesla cars, they are the OG and made EV’s almost mainstream. But great have an option like the PS2. Too bad Biden is going to impose a 100% tariff on the PS2 in an attempt to hold back Chinese EV cars. Idiotic hypocritical move on his part since he’s supposed to be the “green” prez.
Love the car. I have the 2024 PS2 Performance to replace my 2021 PS2 Launch Edition. I am really impressed with Polestar to have had 2 of them in 4 years. Thanks for the review. You two were very enjoyable to watch! Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Idea to set you apart ... Talk more about efficiency and charging curve and less about battery size, WLTP and max. charging speed (less relevant). Keep up the good work.
Hi there 👋 The information regarding the boot space of the Polestar 2 was sourced from our initial research and specifications provided to us. However, upon further verification, it appears there was a discrepancy. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. The correct boot volume of the Polestar 2 is indeed 407 Litres, as stated on the Polestar website. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we'll ensure greater accuracy in our future content.
Hello there 👋 The Polestar 2 comes with a standard charging cable and onboard charger. For more info on electric car charging, read our article: www.osv.ltd.uk/charging-electric-vehicle/
Comes with the car. Level 2 home charging and 120v home charging are included. Level 2 takes around 7-8hrs(20%-100%) to charge the long-range dual motor on 28 AMP(AMPs, charge % level, and schedule charge time adjustable in the vehicle) Level 2 charge. Temperature does affect charge time, range, and performance.
Myself and five colleges all got First Edition PS2’s it’s been a descent car and has been improved in the recent update, however I believe Polestar has lost the plot in terms of their pricing. When I got mine 3 1/2 years ago there was only the Tesla 3 and PS2 to choose from in the £50k price band. Then it was a close call but we all went PS because of a special offer through our lease company. PS is now £59k and the T3 is still £50! Not one of us will go for another PS. Five of us will be going Tesla Y or 3’s and one wants an EX40. That’s Polestar just lost 6 original customers through experience of their product. Not great…
I bought a polestar 2. 3 weeks later it lost 5000€... I'd say it's the car of the 90s farmer. It's solid, but otherwise it's not that great. The pluses : - quiet up to 90 km/h - it has controls - the interface is practical and fluid - torquey engine - it's not a tesla Minuses - it's not super comfortable, and not super incisive - much less efficient than the tesla - little storage space - rear seats for children - no car parking (crazy eh) - opening the boot with your foot works one time out of 2 - the 3D camera is useless - the adaptive cruise control makes you puke - the polestar app is ultra slow Clearly, my next car won't be a Polestar.

Wow, quite a few or your minuses are not an issue for me at all. I opine you were doing it wrong. The 3d camera is amazing if kept free of debris, car parking- just do it yourself unless a lazy burger, foot boot opening, very simple if you read the manual, polestar app is incredibly fast for me, storage space average for this size vehicle, rear seats you have a point, driver comfort probably only uncomfortable if you are incredibly tall, or rather...um, fat. Not incisive? Most surprising of all to me.
Yea its not like American UA-camrs mention the Superior (Metric) system all the time... we are lucky at least 1 or 2 mention the better system over there

My P2 performance came with 20 inch wheels. Did you add the pack on as an OAU?

Setting your temperature and changing radio station with voice control is extremely easy.

Where did you get 470 ltrs of boot space from. On polestar website it says 405 ltrs
Can you confirm please

Does it come with a charge cable as standard or do you have to pay extra for the right cable?

Haven’t tested the facelift yet but the previous one was way too firm
I agree, I have one. Rubbish UK roads really jostle you around. On nice roads, it is excellent.

This dude is replying the same thing on all the polestar reviews
Indeed. It’s the same car.
This guy is a TROLL
Way to hard suspension. I found the car otherwise quite nice, but it was a horror to drive across bad roads, the reason I wouldn't buy it.
These European vids all play in the USA and they still only mention metric measurements. Millimeters? really? Help. 😂😂

Why the stupid music in the background?
this dude uses his hands alot
It probably has harsh suspension and will explode without warning 🥴
Explode 😅
