not sure if I made the right decision to play this at night when I'm the last one awake. Everything I drown out during the day floods back to the surface and I'm left floating but I'm not eager about swimming to the shore. Something about staying still amidst the waves makes me feel anchored to myself. Ironic, I know. But when you've become so detached from the person you once were, it's an eerie yet nostalgic thing to find bits and pieces you remember in moments like this.
