Pretty sure she only said she used they/them pronouns to deflect accusations of transphobia! Like, GIRL! No one will forget that you misgendered the person you're "criticizing" JUST because you SUPPOSEDLY use neutral pronouns!! This is the same thing Lilly Orchid does when someone criticizes her! Trying to use her identity as a weapon and shield to deflect criticism! As an LGBT person, I HATE when people use this as a shield to avoid criticism! These kind of people only ruin the reputation of innocent LGBT people!

As much as I understand this sentiment on principle misgendering nekko would only do them a favor by saying we held a double standard. Like there are ppl who've done it before (oli london) who just changed pronouns because of the heat they've received. In this case if they were to change back to she then we'd know for sure why, although it convenient nekko announced that in their latest video it wouldn't make sense to make an exception (as much as I belive they're probably using it as a sheild)

As an individual who uses They/Them pronouns, I genuinely appreciate the fact that while editing, you slapped a black screen saying THEY*, THEM*, THEIR*, and THEY'RE* every time you accidentally misgender them. Even if OwOnekko is only saying that they use They/Them to be annoying, respecting pronouns is ALWAYS the correct thing to do. You have earned a new subscriber!

There's a youtuber called Glorb who makes these Spongebob raps, but the only part of AI that happens is him using the characters voices. Other than that, he writes, raps and produces the songs all on his own. Idk if you know who he is, but I think he's a good example of creating songs using only a little bit of AI. (Although I do also understand that some voice actors don't want their voice as an AI as well)

Although its only modified, he is using AI to his advantage, a better example of what Nondi was trying to display. She's a talented artist, but a lot of this could've been avoided if she just agreed to disagree, instead of making a video and Live response on the situation, along with creating wojacks of people who disagreed.
(Also, if you're still interested in Glorb, I'm pretty sure penguinz0 interviewed him, which was pretty interesting)
While AI voice generation of cartoon characters is probably one of the lesser evils of AI, you're still using a voice actor's real voice without permission to make them say things they haven't said. it's an invasion of privacy, in a way.

I honestly used to love OwONekko but now… yeah I knew this was coming. Nekko has been on the internet for years specially 15 years if you check their oldest content… what I find weird is the “poop and monkeys” part of the “songs” in some of their oldest videos literally like 2-3 videos talk about poop.. even one saying “I’m pooeing” or popping like that idk. The poop obsession is crazy asl but honestly they just are going crazy and idk what’s going on in their head. Also I find it crazy how everyone is respecting their pronouns yet she doesn’t like to respect others.. that says a lot.

I used to use ai last year (not as art but face claim for my c ai bots, because I never pretended that it was created by mine) I usually use it for OC's, but now, I started to work and make 5 art stuff for my OC's and change them. I mean ai helps to improve and not for using it to sell or claim it as yours. I sometimes also redraw my OC's because I use ai as face claim, but I'm using or making my own art or even use references but I'll make my own spin on my art.
Edit: Using ai for profit is not always an okay solution whatsoever. Working your heart over art is a much more rewarding thing to do than to use ai.
