I woke up this morning and just had the melody of this song in my head, I last heard the song about 10 years ago.... Symphonic Metal and Gothic Metal. Because the atmosphere in the track is kind of dark. And she also got goth clothing in the video.

I had no idea they have gotten this big I was listening to a shadow of your own self in 2002/2003 and no one I knew ever heard of them. I remember it was so hard to get their music even through limewire you really had to dig hard.

Sirenia has really come far. Tho, I wish their new sound wasn't so mainstream and commercial. I Preferred their sound when Morten Veland's harsher vocals took the lead and his direction wrote in blackish folk metal influences. Their music also narrated prominent themes & mythologies. Their style came unto it's own - genuinely unique and dynamic. Fabienne Gondamin was a great vocalist, too - as the female vocalist at the time; she was used to create contrast and used in moderation to complement the choir and harmonics. She was extremely well tailored to those albums. The vocals now sound too close to generic, but I'm glad Veland is still putting his vocals out there.
This is my favorite song by this band and my favorite singer from the band.
