Honestly besides the dragon blocks and the reversed tool order this progression makes more sense game design wise than regular minecraft. The end gets you familiar with the mechanics of the game, nether has busywork, and the overworld has a boss. It's kinda actually better than vanilla minecraft in that way... Outside of the netherite fist mining.

He gets +5 INT for being a massive gamer only when activating his GAMER skill. across the board he gets a -3 INT debuff for being a not very smart man. Dnd explains all.

I'd reskin the ender blocks as flesh bits of a broken dragon, including dragon bone as a block type, and then have the ent drop bark which could be used in crafting super armor, but at that point it's more a mod not a datapack.
Would've been cooler if the end was like the over world with no Island and end villages, then you had to spawn the dragon to deactivate the portal to set you free. After that you went out of the end into the strong hold to try to find a Nether portal. Finally you build a portal out and make your way to the over world. But this time it's scattered green and brown islands with a blue void full of clouds. The boss is a chicken since it's the weakest mob and the game is and reversed and the villagers attack if you look at them. After you beat the chicken you wake up in the end, oh and end cities are desert temples and the end ships are sunken pirate ships Anyway cool vid but that would be my take on it

I'm not 100% familiar with those terms but based on my limited knowledge of them I believe what you are trying to say is that its not truly reversed as the order is End-Overworld-Nether as opposed to End-Nether-Overworld. And if that's the case, I see where you are coming from however if you look at normal progression (using speedruns as a basis), the progression is Overworld-Nether-Overworld-End and in the video he did exactly that in reverse, End-Overworld-Nether-Overworld. Though the gear and resource progression is not quite true reverse and it would have been more accurate if he had to find a way into the nether from the overworld to get something before he could gather any overworld resources
