- This trip was a beauty! It started with a night camping with my son Judd we caught some yabbies (craw fish) and just had a fun time together camping in the bush. The days that followed I was prospecting for gold and finding some nice pieces. I also continued catching yabbies and cooked some up for dinner, they were delicious!

You are a lucky man to have a so to share moments like this with and I' m not to sure you showed Judd those dance moves Lee bwahahahhaha. Great find with all of those nuggets I found it interesting you found so many water washed pieces so high up on a hill. Makes you wonder how deep the water must of been there millions of years ago.
It's great to be able to share moments like that with my little man. Haha yeah we don't have dance genes.. I was surprised as well, just shows it's hard to figure gold out..

Nice stuff Lee, it's good to get feed back on all coils, yep the yabbies last time I had feed I think from memory there were just a tad over 700 caught all up such a pain shelling them but we worked as a team, yum yum..
Damn, 700! That's one big haul right there.. I bet it would have been a mission shelling all of those! The coil didn't run as good as I'd hoped..

I've been thinking since i saw your short with the yabbies, after boiling and cleaning the yabbies fry the meat quickly in garlic butter then put it on the steak. Nice work on the gold as well. good times with the young fella mate . you wont be disappointed with that coiltek mine runs way quieter than the nugget finder and is my go to coil 2 things I do when I change coils 1st factory reset and the 2nd is ground balance in normal mode and in difficult that tends to quiet it down if its still noisy i will do another tune with the coil on the ground
That's it Greg🙌. It was being very noisy, a little touch sensitive and plenty of false targets.. I did a factory reset etc.. didn't help at all. How high can you run your sensitivity?

Hay Lee that was mad. Try snap and pull out the middle tail before boiling takes the muddy shit tube out and let's the salt water in, no mud taste+ sick gold bro.

Love the crayfish it’s the season here in Texas and Louisiana but you gotta suck the heads too. Yep I would say on par with one nugget but any more than that you buy some at the grocery store

Had the same issue with the 14x9 CT was very unstable almost useless would be smooth stationary then the slightest movement caused it to affect the threshold. Tried everything factory reset, extra careful ground balance in normal. Made zero difference. My 11in stock has found way more gold. Stick with the NF. We tested all coils on the CT range the 10x5 is the only one that performs. surprisingly. All the rest were inconsistent in target response.
That's what's mine doing mate.. did they swap it out for you and was the new one any better? I think the 11 is 100% the way to go.. seems to be so many issues with all the aftermarket coils..
Yeah they swapped the first one out. They were really good to deal with. Bit scared to put the second one on in case I don't like it. I hear NF has pulled the 16x10 production the (6000) don't like the big coils I'm hearing.
@Giddos_Prospecting good to hear mate, think I'll get it back to the shop.. oh really I think 14inch is plenty big enough for the flimsy 6 anyway. A 13 or 14 round would be nice!
Ohh man totally.. A nice aftermarket round would of been 👌. I want to test the 17x13 in normal to see how deep it goes. I'm hearing the extra size is troublesome for the old '6'. Seems to like the smaller coils. The extra stability on the 12x7 is gold but it seems that's all we are getting. Seems that all the 6000 coils require regular replacing compared to older machines.
