I wrote the first version of this song in late 2022 and it bounced around my system for a long time before it took shape and even then in bits and pieces. Even as I finalized this mix in January 2025 I felt somewhat conflicted about it.
However, Until It's too Late was the song that set the mood for the rest of the EP. I hesitate to use the word mature but this stuff is definitely more serious than anything I've ever done. Regretful and hopeful in equal measure.
I wrote the song, sang the words and played all the instruments except for the drums which were created by ‪@null-o-band‬.
The cover art is based on a photograph by Blue Lemming and the design is based on a template she created in 2020.
