The only thing I could possibly think of to make this model even more horrifying is to give each pose transition animations back into the idle, make his movements just too smooth to be real, to be human. Sometimes, a smooth transition can be even more menacing than a sudden, jarring one.
The left pose works really great with the "I" vocal (like at 1:34). Robotnik in complete darkness, the clay like textures, the time it takes to return to idle from poses, the pitched down song, it all combines so damn well.
I did not expect clay Eggman to move, I expected this to be a cover of Fight or Flight with Starved standing statically on the screen. When he moved, I jumped out of my skin.
What terrifies me about this version of Starved, is remorse on his face. In all of his poses he looks like he is trying to tell something to Tails. Explain, that he must to kill him to calm his endless hunger. Starved already got what he wanted, he got Sonic. He doesn't need to kill Tails but he must do it because of his obsession. Through the song he tries to believe that he does nothing wrong and this makes him so human. I'm genually scared because this is so real, that it CAN happen in real life. P.S. this is my first esse-like work, so don't judge too hard.
The poses for the original starved with his arms out looks like he’s trying to act non threatening to stall tails, starved knows tails could easily kill him, he’s only human after all But starved knows tails will get more scared as time goes on, unable to bring himself to stab starved, so he waits till tails is consumed by fear so he loses his spirit to fight

I keep coming back to this. There's something so deliriously off about the entire video that I can't quite put in to words. It's like a reprisal of the original FoF, except there is no more hope. I feel as if this one doesn't have the 'happy' ending that the original has, it doesn't seem like Tails can survive this version with the atmosphere this conveys. The model is something else. Starved seems to be less outright evil in this version, he looks more like someone pretending to be normal despite their world having crumbled to insanity. The original came off as deliberate in Tails' demise, where this one is just- I can't even describe the off-putting feeling it gives. Whatever it is, it doesn't come off as something that can be escaped. All in all, amazing atmosphere here, Leaf. This is a type of horror I haven't seen in a long time, and it's one of the few that actually still disturbs me. Keep up the good work, fear like this isn't easy to come by in today's world.

He looks like he is nade out of clay and he is animated in stop motion. This makes the animation even more terrifying, because his movements are unnatura. He is no longer a human, he is a gut on legs.

Its like a gameover, you are just singing like its the last thing you could do.. as your conscience starts leaving your body slowly, you tremble.. robotnik is singing you such a lullaby that even makes your soul tired.. you never knew he was such a good singer and nobody will, nobody will know you've ever existed.
What I love about this is that the proportions are off just enough to not be human, his eyes are too far up his nose too long, all the little things add up and tip this over into the uncanny valley. And I love every little bit of it.
I can't wait for the day that fnf supports 3d models, whether official or in the unity port. That day will be fucking legendary, imagine the camera actually being able to change angles dynamically without taking forever to animate in 2d.

He just stares at you with hunger on his mind as you fight for your life, one mistake will gravely cost you, as you enter the room you see your best friends body behind him your fear rises but you made it this far so you both fight one shall defeat the other.
It reminds me of the style for donkey kong country 1 2 and 3, the bosses looked like clay and moved in a weird way that fitted them, on robotnik it looks creepy, like he's about to jump at you at any moment for missing a note or pressing a death note

The claymation-esc style really sets in the uncanny/unsettling appearance of Starved
The deeper pitch with the reverb along with this animation really makes fight or flight feel like a real fight or flight situation
