She told him it would be impossible to wipe out Hamas in Gaza as the group was not solely a military organisation.

She lost me as soon as she said that what shocked her on October 7th was that the Palestinian fighters (Hamas) was able stand up to the Israeli army and expose the myth that Israeli army can not be defeated. This was not an attack on the Israeli army as we all know, this was a terrorist attack on innocent civilians in the most savage barbaric way, and the fact that she, for anyone else can say anything other than that discredits anyone’s argument that this was freedom fighting!

Israel withdrew form Gaza in 2005. The Palestinian People voted Hamas into power the following year. Hamas, founded in 1987, declared its intent to wipe Israel off the map. No sovereign country will allow an open border or military supplies to enter that territory controlled by that militant group, not even Egypt which also controls a border.

I would like to ask Hanan Ashrawi, what was her opinion of Hamas, back in 2006 when the bodies of the representatives of *her* political party, were dragged through the streets of Gaza tied to Hamas motorcycles, after the only elections held in Gaza back then.

How she kept calm as he lectured her with his opinions is a miracle. I know Sky reporters are famous for bias reporting, but that was just insane. He had the opportunity to interview someone with decades of experience who is actually involved in peace talks. Get some real insight and discuss what should be being done to stop the bloodshed. Over the last two weeks I have chosen Sky news over all the other media outlets. I recognize your efforts to try to present both sides of the story. I have not agreed with every bit of the coverage, and some interviews have been less balanced than others, but for the most part I recognise the efforts towards a more independent coverage of events, and the humanity of many of the anchors and presenters.
Certainly a better choice than CNN/Fox/ etc

It was not only the killing of these people that occurred, it was the manner in which they did it and the mutilation that followed. This had nothing to do with breaking out of a prison as they are self governing. This was all about butchering the "worst of creatures". It is a sad indictment of the world we live in. How can anyone possibly believe these people as they lost credibility over the alleged bombing of the hospital incident. Just lie after lie after lie.
