Hi lucas, yesterday me and my teammate cooked another ryzeal version. Basically kashtira ryzeal, since unicorn can bring theosis and also be a one card ryzeal combo because you can go unicorn>theosis>fenrir>riseheart>arsenal falcon>zephyros>banshee>full ryzeal combo through one card unicorn. And if you already have combo, just put unicorn and fenrir and full ryzeal combo so to win the handtrap battle :)
For the cost of another brick and a couple slots in extra, you can make an Omni before 5 summons a link 2, a draw and lvl4 to use towards duodrive with one ostinato. Not sure if you have seen this or if you have and just prefer the one less brick and extra deck space

As someone who hasn’t even been playing for a year I love seeing videos like this because I can finally say “omg I actually have those cards” then dig through my slop piles for them
I already tested this. The problem? Bacha is a huge choke point if they handtraped her. With Bacha alone on field you can't activate Ryzeal effects, since you can only activate their effects if your only have lv/rank 4 monsters in the field, so you need to wastle your normal summon to summon a Rizeal monster and go to the lizardose to unlock your field.
The only one affected by the level/rank 4 lock is Ex. Every other one can still do it. So not a choke point at all. If it becomes like that it becomes like a nib token in many different lines. You’re still able to make 2 rank 4s
That’s only ext. you can also just ns anything, link 2 into hagard, summon from gy, then use that to search for cannon. Veiler gets punished by literally any normal summon able monster.
This might be the solution for the consistency Issue, because Bigjaws and the spirit monsters kinda sucks. This might compete with the Kash version which is nice too
With 15-16 handtraps there is 92-94% chance the opponent has a handtrap in their hand. If that HT is fuwalos, then we're screwed either way. But if it's not, it's better to go into banshee rather than duodrive imo, at least with the Refrain starter. Cuz they almost certainly will have a HT in their hand, statistically its almost guaranteed, even if they didnt fuwalos u, thats still 90% chance with 13 HT left. So if u go duodrive they HT it and u lose. Whereas if u go banshee, sure they can also HT that and u lose, but the idea is that if they HT the banshee and then u got an extender u will go duodrive and they wont have their HT anymore, meaning its a big punish. So smart players wont HT the banshee. So banshee adds ice or ext to ur hand. Then u do the combo as normal. Yes they will HT the duodrive, but the difference here is u can still go into Deadnador or Babooshka, whereas if u go straight into duodrive from Refrain, ur turn is over when they HT the duodrive. Also losing out on crossout sucks imo, that card really makes ur other 13 starters (prosperity 13th) much more duodrive ht-resillient. Sure u can side deck it but it costs slots plus u wanna be side decking judgment and anti spell fragrance going 1st anyway, theres only so many things u can take out. Idk how i feel about this melodious version. I guess its better for tournaments because more starters means more consistency, aka less 4 handtraps and a crossout moments. But also i feel like if u play 2 crosses in the normal version which are great combo with ice/ext cuz u can go into photon to play around stuff, then 3 desires can be pretty good. If u banish cross its fine cuz u got another one. If u banish plugin or plasma hole its fine u can just add the other one with duodrive. Only bad is if u banish node, but im not sure running 2 nodes is worth doing. I guess u can try 2 cross 2 node 3 desires 1 prosperity in the normal version. Node is a great extender and with this decklist u dont fear desires banishes anymore. Ofc running 4 cards which cant be used if another one is used isnt great. But then again, its a free +1, and u dont have to run the Canon diva brick. Feels like its worth trying. Oh also, in the spell combo, when u fusion summon and send 2 refrain to GY to special summon the 3rd refrain to get Canon, if u ever draw one of these 4 cards then the combo is bricked. Also this melodious version seems very weak to nibiru. So if maliss is popular, they can sidedeck 3 nibiru and it will be good vs both maliss and vs this version, whereas the pure version doesnt lose to nibiru.

Been testing this engine in ryzeal ever since the deck came out in OCG and to me is definitely the most fun engine

well, your ex cant search unfortunately bc you have a non-ryzeal on board. makes ex dead as a starter which hurts if bacha gets negated.
i tried your list, had a negated bacha and only ex as engine / ns in hand.
