Of course I've done this before so everything was off. But it is good to go back once in a while to make sure that Amazon hasn't changed any of your settings. I went through my settings to make sure nothing has been set. Thanks for the video. These are things that should be checked once in a while thank you

...Though, on the subject of custom launchers, an alternative is to just use the app shortcut by holding the home button. I wonder why people don't just do that.

This was a good reminder. I wish I knew how to delete some of the bloat apps that are installed by default.
I do enjoy your videos, but most of all your website that has an outstanding amount of add-ons to the fire stick. I have many Amazon devices throughout my house and one of the things that I've integrated when they first came out was the ringdoor bell and the blink cameras, smart bulbs and smart switches which works great with Alexa and all my Amazon devices that I have. The AI experience is great to set up timers for lights reminders routines, it's basically hands free environment. Maybe you should do a video on how to setup a hands free environment with the FireTv products 🙂

Good video thanks tanya tbh I'm slowly getting rid of amazon I'm just sick of them period never satisfied i've just bought a chromecast with google tv and to say I'm pleased with it is an understatement got rid of most of the little bloatware that's on it added extra storage and hard wired it and it's ace regular updates and don't have to read all the dross that amazon throw at us I really with now that people would just stop buying there products and they would realise what a good thing they have/had

It's possible that the reason for not requiring offloading on the new 2nd-gen 4k Max is due to its 16GB storage capacity.
Great video and sounded like just what I needed. BUT after buying all the items and downloading the apps needed. I found out that all my usb drives and 2tb sd drive are formatted in ntfs which won’t work. I think it said it needed to be fat32 which isn’t much use for 30gb films. Or have I missed something. Justed had new firestick 4k max 2gen mouse toggle doesn't work tried all that thay say stuck on starting 1.11 version iv download
Hi. As mentioned in my review video of the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2nd-gen (ua-cam.com/video/Rb1vM0-ZvOo/v-deo.html), mouse toggle does not work with it.

Thanks for the helpful tips. My Fire Stick shuts off automatically after a few hours. It never did that before? Is there a Power saver setting I can turn off? I've gone thru all the settings menus and can't find anything?

Would you happen to know what Amazon ATT is??? It showed up yesterday it's kinda locking the home screen and cannot go any further unless I use the t.v. remote..help please...
I have not seen this, sorry. I suggest a power cycle. Remove power from the Firestick for 30 seconds. Could you power back up and check if the problem continues?
@@FireTVSticks I've done that,unplugged it,rebooted the fire stick and it's still there.its square and it says HDMI ARC and underneath it it says Amazon OTT which I was told by Amazon that it was a third party thing from downloader,but I didn't not download it and it's not on my other smart t.v. which has the same exact fire stick 4Kmax...

Hi I use my firestick via Wi-Fi not hard wired every time I go back on it , say next day it’s says no Wi-Fi but when I check on firestick it says connected 🤔
I unplug my stick and back in again it’s fine .
I’ve tried redoing my password in firestick still the same.

You may find that a hard reboot of your router will help. Unplug your router from the power for at least 30 seconds. Plug it back in and then restart your Firestick. If this does not work, please report the problem to Amazon as it may be a fault with your Firestick.

Something I find annoying with the new stick is that when I first turn it on, it goes straight to the ads and trailers at the top in full screen. I then have to navigate down to access my apps. Is there a solution or a previous video I can watch?

I don't c the auto off load...and the ads don't take up the entire screen when I turn on my fire stick..just a part of the screen

I used the new 2nd Gen 4K Max in this video. Are the settings different in your area? Some users in Canada have reported missing settings.
