- Randy takes us along on the first bath of the 103 year old Dodge and attempts to erect the top. After sitting for over 38 years, the results are pretty good. Still more work to do, but every step brings this bit of American history on wheels closer to the road!

A great car for long distance driving through rough terrain. These are strong, rugged cars.
I love how the dogs just wanna help. They are awesome...
Looking Good here!! That top don't look to bad.... especially with your skills...
As they say if you can't afford a Ford by a Dodgy Dodge. She is an amazing old girl survivor. Cheer's John
That's a really cool find
I love that Dodge 😍 please don't change a thing, well of course the top needs some attention, other than that it's perfect. I have been to the Dodge mansion a couple times... it's called Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Michigan. It is very beautiful inside and out!
It always makes me smile hearing the enthusiasm in your voice when you work on these very old cars. They are so simple, yet challenging to our minds that are trained to more complicated vehicles. I for one have a hard time believing something so simple can work so well. And when they are over a hundred years old, and still work, it does become down right amazing. Love all that you are doing, and can't wait for the next one. Oh, by the way, I saw this gadget the other day that you can screw on the end of your hose that makes it easy to spray the water. AND it will shut it off! What will they think of next?
OMG! Really? A thingy for the end of the hose that magically shuts itself OFF? No way! I dont believe it. But thanks for the kind words about my mania for these old machines...they really are so fun, simple, intriguing, etc.
Love it, Love it, Love it!! I remember just being all glad when you bombed it around last week.
Now, hear me out Randy... it's a Dodge this time, right?? Maybe this is the candidate for the Hellcat chassis swap I'm dying for!!
Or maybe one of those V10’s from a Viper?
@@Carchaeology Yes, Please!!
I wanna ride!
Happy 4th Randy! 🇺🇸🧨
I'd like a drive, thanks. I think that'd be really cool.
@@danielkeel9265 Come to think of it, me too but I belive I'd need a lesson first.
Nice Great car brother. Timeless in fact. Looks like it will clean up very nice. Thanks for the content.
Love It Yo can you tell me how you keep the mice out of your cars ? I live in Acton on 5ac all dirt and it looks like your place ! Plus i dont have the gravel down like you do but been thinking about doing that allso . Do think that will be helpful to keep the dust down Randy ? Thanks Straight Ahead ✌😎
The gravel does help for sure!
@@Carchaeology What about mice ?✌😎
I dont have any tricks on that honestly, other than having dogs and cats on the property to chase em now and then.
Fun car for sure. Thanks for sharing your work and cars with us! You have a problem that is even worse than mine: What car should we tinker with next? Well to tell the truth: That is a problem we enjoy having.
