@@gracefullj Thank you. If you decide to do another slide show, let me know and I'll send you some photos, from my Dad's early life in Darien as well as my own. Cheers, Donna (Summerton) Sassaman
@@donnasassaman7875 Keep your eyes open on the Darien site, I will try one more time to get some...I need a few from a lot of people, or showing different people in Darien. :). My grandfather built our house on Fitch Avenue and my nephew lives there still - fourth generation.
@@gracefullj, my grandparents bought 3 acres and built a house at 162 Leroy Avenue in the early 1920s. My parents built a house on one of the acres in the late 1940s. My cousin, Steve Summerton (3rd generation) and his wife live on the back acre and have owned and rented out my family home for many years. My grandparents' house is no longer there and that acre is no longer owned by the family. Can you tell me who contributed the photo of the play? Thanks!
That was so nice ~ thank you for the trip down memory lane 💗
I definitely miss my hometown of Darien Ct
I dont
Delighted to see the photo of Gil Delaney and me in the play, "Mrs. McThing" (if I remember correctly). It must have been around 1964.
I had a lot of people send me photos for this video, so glad you discovered you were in it! Gracie Frasca Fulljames
