    My main man Carl! Learned most of the intro solo by ear, but when I got stuck I literally typed in "Sanitarium Carl" and it brought me to the light lol. Your channel is awesome! Perfect for an intermediate player like myself as well as those just starting out. Keep it up, Carl!

      Yea I agree. He needs to separate his fingers a little more when he’s teaching to make it a little clearer what he’s playing

    this was the first solo I learned, watching this video 10 months ago. it’s insane how much progress I’ve made. my personal favorite (and most recent, it was today) accomplishment is playing creeping death at 230bpm. hopefully I can manage this full song now. thanks for your videos Carl you are so unbelievably helpful and inspiring .

    Carl great job teaching the solo!!! When I first started watching your videos I thought you moved kind of fast too, but the more I practiced and learned my chord progressions. It all came together nicely and you teach at the right speed now :) thanks for your great lessons here it was very helpful to learn the solo along with your other ones. Keep them coming you are one of the best on here I watch the other two Marty and Papastache

      gigos2 I think this is not a solo that I beginner should attempt to play. If you are at the level of ability to be able to play or even attempt to play this solo I think the video pace is fine. You will notice in my more beginner level videos I go much slower.

    • @gigos2
      @gigos2 9 років тому

      the solo isnt the issue..
      my english is not my native language, and by going fast i meant to the talking and showing on the guitar where to put the fingers.
