You automatically have a classroom full of friends. You have TEFL course trainers who are able to guide you. I think without TEFL Campus, it would have been a much harder time in Thailand finding a job and finding friends, so I would definitely highly, highly recommend it to anybody.

Abbey: I learned how to do exercises and activities without actually speaking. It's very important to demonstrate through activities. You cannot explain things in English to five-year-olds that don't understand the language, so that skill has helped me considerably within the classroom. The students now, they understand it really very quickly, and it saves a lot of time and it keeps the morale of the classroom high. Yeah, it's a very, very effective skill.
Sue: If you have a passion, you want to help others, you want to help people to learn English, basically after you've done the TEFL course, you'll have the confidence to be able to do that, no matter what your background. Most of the people that leave here, leave here feeling that they're able to go out there into a classroom and teach English.

You learn a lot in the course, you meet a lot of great people. It definitely helps prepare you a bit for the classroom. Teaching in a Thai school is very different though, than what I expected, but TEFL Campus, the course I took there, really helped me just kind of understand Thai culture a bit more before I entered into the school and got a job on my own.
