- Available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, the 2020-2021 Peugeot Landtrek pickup truck is powered by a 2.4-liter gasoline engine rated at 210 horsepower and 320 Nm (236 lb.-ft.) sent to the wheel via either a 6-speed Getrag manual or a Punch automatic transmission with the same number of gears. There’s also a 1.9-liter diesel with 150 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) linked exclusively to the aforementioned manual ‘box and available in both 4x2 and 4x4 guises.
The quickest version can do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 11.2 seconds for the 4x4 gasoline model with the automatic transmission, before maxing out at 110 mph (177 km/h).
Before deployment in other countries, the first launches will be in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. Europe is not expected to be included in the scope of the marketing.

Haven't read anything about it but it suspiciously looks like Nissan Navara... Merc just ended the production of the X-class, I can imagine Peugeot won't have much success either :)
based in KAICENE F70, i will buy it for the diesel engine, the mpg is awesome! you have to try a diesel once and you will love it. thats why heavy duty trucks use diesel.

It is basically a rebadged Chinese Changan Kaicene F70. And Chinese car manufacturers are sadly well known for copying other's designs

Sure it is a Chinese design and manufacture.(maybe an mg)..but it looks great and the best : it is a 6 seater. Finally some one made the pick up we need...hope they will sale it at a reasonable price.

They need to have a lot of convincing for people to buy it
I REALLY dont want to hang shit on anyone who builds a new car, buuuut...
- The wading depth looks terribly poor
- No one loads a pallet of bricks on the back edge of the ute, it will break the chassis
- No showcasing done of mobile phone integration; a critical feature tradies like
- A chinese built car with a european badge on it (albeit Peugeot) won't go down very well
- No mention or showcasing of towing or the GVM of the vehicle
- No mention of air conditioning, heating, engine specs etc

This is not based on the Nissan/Renault Navarra the chassis and drivetrain is based on the Toyota Hilux Revo and actually this Peugeot uses the same outside mirrors as the Toyota Hilux Revo

Great pickup! Too bad they won't be sold here in Europe... however, it doesn't seem to meet EU standards and it's got a mix of parts from different companies despite the Peugeot badge. It's got a Chinese chassis (looks strangely like a Navara judging by the window design) and engines from Mitsubishi or Isuzu.
They should have thrown their 2.2 hdi engine in there....
The back just looks like a old chevy
I guess a bit they do but I think a part of them is LED or has an LED look which is cool. Also this looks Peugeot-ish (at least in the front) which is great cause I kinda had enough of the American ones

For me its meh, using a 1.9 Lt Turbo Diesel its not enough for a daily working truck, in my oponion they should have gone for more torque, especially since it will be launched in Latin America first where the topography includes a lot of hills.
