It reminds me of the glory days of tough Peugeot bakkies like the legendary 404 and 504. Great write up on a car that has the right stuff where and when you need it.
@@itumelengmahaole5890 the fuel consumption is bad when it's brand new but after the first service it gets better. Then reliability is just fine nothing to cry about.
@itumelengmahaole5890 There have been no issues with reliability. Fuel consumption depends on how you drive it except mid to high 8s but on long distance except low 8 to high 7s
Hi Alan. A very glowing review but lacks balance regrettably. To my mind this video is more of an advertorial. Peugeot Citroen are well known for really problematic after sales service in SA. An owner can wait many months for parts and the attitude of dealers’ service departments seem to suck. Go look at the complaints on hellopeter for instance together with the company’s Trust Index which backs this up. The initial experience is only 1 part of the equation. What are you likely to face say 3 years down the line? What resale value can you expect? You need to cover the good and the bad please.
Hi Keith. To put the matter in context, I test new vehicles and give my opinion on them. Firstly, I cannot predict the future so can't respond to you in that regard. Secondly, my experience of Peugeot has only been good and positive in every respect to the extent that my daughter has just bought a new Peugeot on my advice. My reviews always cover my personal experience and opinions of the vehicle concerned.
I would consider it if Peugeot bump up power to at least 140 kw and at least 450 NM. If Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu etc can do it, why not Peugeot? 110 kw in 2023 is not enough.

Thank you, it certainly has a great legacy to follow.
Great review, good sound, love the car. It's bold looking and different...
If the cameraman uses a Gimble we won't get Sea-Sick!
I like it. I have one, and it works really god.
Ah....any reliability issues? Fuel consumption?

Get it mapped. They do up the power a lot.
@@therufusik where can the mapping be done?
