Gretchen, my DreamBox has arrived and been assembled, so I am saving these videos like crazy to watch these nuggets of fabulousness again once I have all of my supplies organized. I inherited a TON of flat-backed crystals for diamond art from a friend so I will be making and gifting a BUNCH those fancy button displays ❤ Also! I found my Paddington postcards!! How wild is that?!? I have a whole postcard stash that i found as I brought all of my supplies out to put it all in my DreamBox (praise for all of my stuff in 1 place 🙌🏼). Keep your eye out for a postcard visit from my friend and yours 🐻 😊
Yeah that sounds wonderful Lola!!!! It sounds like you're about to have tons of fun with your stash!!! Is your DreamBox like a (WAYKTF) "what are you keeping that for* box ?
I love how you make so many different items with multiple techniques. I think miniature spaces look more realistic, interesting and fun to look at when they're full of a variety of items. I love the small detail of adding the labels and wallpaper to the ends of the bolts of fabric. Great idea! Thanks for the shout-out :)
Yes i truly believe in variety! My eye gets bored it it's too much similarity or "matchy matchy!" LOLOLOL!! I thought those embroidery floss labels were perfect but they were really shiny and the glue wouldn't stick. I had to clamp them down to make the catch, The I just switched to the wallpaper remnants! LOLOLOL!!! I truly Love your work! I struggled so bad with those pony beads! I did end up making a couple but they were not cute like YOURS! LOLOLOL!!! I'll have to use them as a filler in the yarn basket!! LOLOL!!!Thank you for watching and your shouts as well!:) You have a great channel!
Oh boy did this video bring back memories! I made a lot of these things for my mom's dollhouse about 25 years ago. They were a Christmas gift so I wrapped every single one of them in tiny little boxes and stacked them around a miniature tree and put that in a bigger box to wrap. It took her an hour to unwrap everything and she loved it! Unfortunately I don't have any of them. They were never found after she passed. I have an idea where they are but won't go there. I do have some of her fabric, ribbon, and other tid bits and will make something from them for my dollhouse.
That was a lot of work! I roll the 'yarn' the old way ('cause I'm old)- I make a tiny square w. paper, tuck the end of the yarn in it, and then keep rolling the yarn as you did. The room is so wonderful- I admire your creativity, and as you may know, I watch all your posts.
Thank you!! LOLOLOL!!I was alot! But it was so much FUN! It felt like when i was a kid again, when I would just sit there and "see what i could see" and just let it flow! I'm excited about pulling together all the pieces of my vision! I'm so glad to hear you are enjoying my videos! it's great to share with those that appreciate what i LOVE to do! Thank you for watching!
I especially loved the button cards. So simple but so good! I guess you can make the card longer and draw some kind of label like the manufacturer would print. And of course I also loved “bursting at the seams” 😂
Yes like a logo of some sort! There are so many ways to truly make it your own, LOLOOLOLOL!!! You caught that!!! When i said it I felt like " that's so Corny", like my kids would say! But I couldn't resist it!! Thank you for watching!!
Okay, as a quilter, I love the big cone of thread! You have really inspired me to try to make more and more in my dollhouse! I am convinced you can make just anything. You just jump right in and suddenly, there is a wonderful thread spool, a bolt of fabric, or a kitchen cabinet....not to mention the beautiful dolls! Gretchen, you amaze me!
You can do it! Go ahead and make a list! It's so much fun to cross things off and see you have fulfilled the requests from your DOLLS ☺️!!! THEY REALLY LOVE ALL THE ACCESSORIES!😂💖
There are so many great things happening in this video! I’ve never done a sewing room and now I find myself trying to figure out how to incorporate one into my dollhouse! Thank you Gretchen, always love watching your talent!

@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 I love a packed room…I love the look of simple rooms but rarely do mine ever have a simple look….I love adding tons of stuff so that every time you look inside you might see something different!
Hello, I love all the tiny things you have made for the dress shop, it's going to look amazing, I can't wait to see it all in situ, I'm looking forward to your next video, Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧
Thank you Diane! will be burning the midnight oil to get ALL done! LOLOLLOLOL! I have ALot of Work to do!!!Thank you for watching and being so supportive!
Oh I love it all, Gretchen this video is full of inspiration, and I am certain the ladies will love it all too, bet they can’t wait to get their hands on everything lol, looking forward to seeing everything in place and the sewing room is completed, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
The skewer end looks great as a cone of thread. 👍 It also really reminded me of one of those ring-stacking toys, which would definitely be out of place in the dress shop. 😄 Maybe another day... I love the little spools of thread and ribbon, and the tiny "buttons". 🥰 The "linen" paint really brought the dress forms to life! So many great accessories! I hope the men have been busy getting the house ready to hold them all! 😊
GOOD EYE LAURA! YES it does look like a Stacking Toy!! I will need some toys soon for Isabels' children's room! The men are little frustrated you will find out why soon! LOLOLOOLOL!!!
This was good timing and super fun to watch! Now that Margo is done I'm headed back to the sewing room! 😊💖 I do need to go catch up on a Queen City Minis. I haven't visited in awhile, I've been so busy ..thanx for sharing these wonderful ideas!!😊💖
Wow that shop is going to be bursting with lovely accessories, I love how you made everything, The bolts of fabric and the reels of yarn and ribbon, The mirror looked so cool with the broken earring, and I love how you painted the dress forms too and the button cards are so cute, and most of all I love your voice, you are so calming I could listen to you all day, Thank you for sharing your wonderful work ❤
THANK YOU SO MUCH! That is so COOL that you enjoy hearing my voice! I am Really Glad you are enjoying seeing me Create! I think I'm having as much FUN as You DOLLS are!!! Thank you for watching!!!
Wonderful in every way! Your imagination truly knows no bounds!!! I love it and it’s so inspiring! I’ve had the same issue with the pony bead yarn - I even tried it with fewer embroidery strands and couldn’t get it to “work” fully. So, I resorted as you did in making yarn balls! Can’t wait to see your next steps for this sewing room! Thanks much, Kathleen
You are SO KIND!! That is so funny we had the same experience! I really struggled! l did make a couple but I will put them in a box with other things on top of them!!! LOLOLOL!!

Lady! Sheesh you got me wishing I could come play in your craft stash and making things with you for your dolls lol...I think I need to make me some dolls of my own maybe. After seeing you using those nail studs quite a few times I ordered some online, they arrived today and I accidentally dropped a few while I was putting them into a container. Oh lord they were hard to pick up with my clumsy fingers, this is going to be "interesting" trying to put them to use in future hahaha. I hadn't had much time to watch UA-cam for a few days, so it's been so nice getting my fix of Little Gretchens workshop. I can't wait to see what you come up with next x
I promise You That Sounds like so much fun! When you drop them especially a few USE TAPE to pick them up! You will get alot of "lint" but at least you will rescue your stones!!! LOLOL! Get ready!! DOLL VIDEOS just ahead!!
Wow, lots of pretty goodies for the dress shop, it's going to be so much fun watching all this come together!! I did some yarn skeins with pony beads last year, complete with wee wrappers on some of them. My daughter got a kick out of them because she's big into knitting. I learned the technique on Nasus Miniatures, another really talented miniaturist.
WOW! That's AWESOME! I TRULY STRUGGLED with the Pony beads! I did try again and made a couple. I think I was trying to make them too thick. OK, I need to check out Nasus Miniatures. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching!
I may need to swing by my local Cracker barrel to get me some!!! I do have some that have a decorative tip I may need to see if those will work!!!! I appreciate your suggestion!!!! 😃💖💖💖💖
They are called tiny turnings. They have a couple different sizes. I don,t have a clue where you get them now. I would suppose a web search will bring up some places where they can be found. I will look too..if they are still around they will be found😅
