@20:00ish MOST AMAZING THING I'VE HEARD SAID ON REACTION IS 'IF THIS WAS A RELIGION I WOULD JOIN IT'....we embrace u pedagouge & bathe u in his mind wrapped round his tongue, best fool-aid ever. That said, not only do 'promoted' acts rhyme bout TRASH they don't even do it on the level of CAT in the HAT. to end every line in a bar w/ the same word, is disgustingly pathetic. How do Drake or aSap rocky look fools in the eye. THEY'RE LIKE OUR TERRENCE & PHILLIP FROM SOUTH PARK, just farting in folks faces. to the point of it has to be on purpose! VERSUS every 3 word phrase of Aesop's enlightens. I TAUGHT HIS LYRICS IN YOUTH ARTS PROGRAM BUT THINK IN TEENS STUDIED HIS LYRICS IN SCHOOL THE SUICIDE RATE WOULD PLUMMET

"If quieter than most, then mostly mastering the science of keeping one's composure while the limbic system's lighting up." That is some masterful wordplay.

I’ve been listening to Aes since the Labor Days days.
As impressed as I am with how he’s perfected his vocal delivery & writing over the years, I’m even more impressed with his production on this album.
This album is having an impact on me like “The Chronic” had when I was in high school.
BTW, the lyrics on this album probably make way more sense to those of us whom have had multiple psychedelic experiences.

YO! At around 13:15 homie compared him to a modern day Shakespeare! I told my bro that Aes is the reincarnation of Shakespeare a while back and he laughed. I made him read his lyrics. He’s def channeling some serious genius shit in his raps man. He’s bringing us some conceptual shit. The closest thing I can think of is Deltron and I love the shit they collaborated with Wu-Tang together. Shit is so dope. When I heard Lupe Fiasco and Chuck D give Aesop props, I knew then this kid is legit.

Also, if you gentlemen haven't checked out Eyedea yet, you are depriving yourselves of good stuff. First Born, The Many Faces Of Oliver Hart, E&A, and his fourth album if you're into experimental stuff.

What just FLOORS me is his casual mastery of words, to the point where after like the 15th time through I'm still deciphering new shit! His words flow like a living instrument, that has hooks in the hooks, and you feel him taking REAL LIFE shit, (ptsd, depression, pain) and he just melts everything into the sickest bars!!!
All the respect on Mr. Rock's name, and much respect and love to y'all! From this hip hop Junkie, thanks for the fix!
Not sure if you have covered him already or not, but real talk, Brother Ali is another artist who is NEXT L!!

I am a true fan of Aesop... one of the reason I do this channel... to expose people to my favorite artists.... like Deca, Cambatta, Durrty Goodz, K-Rino and Aesop Rock and many more .. thnaks for the watching and rocking wit ya boy... holla

I initially thought you were both going to goof off through the video and miss a lot of the detail, but nice job bringing it back to the lyrics and giving it a shot over and over again. I'm seeing too many people listen once straight through and post the video, really low effort. You and your kid have something nice going here, keep it up.
