Another awesome adventure Lance, Rude Rock definitely on my bucket list. Scenery down that way is just breathtaking ! I'm glad Zak got a ride, a real shame about his shock
Heading to Alexandra mid November, for 11 nights, so looking forward to riding this and other Queenstown trails, doing a road trip from Auckland, 3.5 weeks in the South Island, checking all your videos for trails to ride 😊
Wow what a fantastic video Lance I really enjoyed watching it. It would be a nice trails to do but only problem is I probably end up going over the cliff checking out the fantastic views looking forward to watching the next video next weekend
Glad you enjoyed the video. I love this track. Partly for the track itself but more so for the incredible location. Like you I am guilty of looking at the scenery at times.
Awesome downhill doesn't look too rough which for me as a 68yo is very inviting, unfortunately there's no huge hills or mountains for a couple of hundred kilometres east of my town just little bumps. But watching this has kind of inspired me to consider a mountain bike with full suspension as compared to the hardtail I have now. You had me at let's go!! Not much time to sight see when you have a handful downhill ey? Great stuff young fella lol Cheers👍👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠️👌
I assume you are not in NZ as I can't think of anywhere that is 200km from hills. Get a full sus trust me life is simply better lived in turbo with lots of travel front and BACK even if you just go off the curb.😂😂😂
Great video again Lance. So enjoyable to watch on a Saturday morning here in the UK. Nice to have a little lie down now and again. Glad that Zack got a ride somewhere along the line. Rear view camera always looks good. Ask the lad behind to see how close they can get. Looks scary. As for lost footage, I’m surprised GoPro haven’t given you free storage on their cloud! I thought you were one of their prized sponsored riders. If not, don’t be a tight arse and buy a subscription 😂🤣. What about some interviews with the Dad’s Army crew? Telling us about their biking history or current quiver? No drone this trip?
Must admit clouds always confuse me. Should look into it. Would have loved to have used the drone but getting permission to fly in these locations would have been a challenge.
Is there anywhere I can find what you guys are riding? I did my first season at Cardrona on a 29 hardtail and loved it but the bike is more XC with a fork angle of about 85 degrees!
Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/XII5e81sNSA/v-deo.html it has a lot of the bikes in it. You can ride these trails on any bike but trust me they are way more fun on a 150-160 travel enduro bike. Way safer to.
Another great video mate. Hey just so you know, the first track after Rude Rock and before HotRod is called 'The Coronet Water Race Connector' then when you get to the start of HotRod you can also carry on straight ahead, on the 'Coronet Face Water Race' which takes you to 'The Saddle' and then onto 'Bush Creek" which takes you to Arrowtown (and more importantly the pub). Best you bring your e-bike for that one as I know you don't like peddling... But peddling makes the beer taste better! I'm gutted you came down when you did as I was still recovering from my accident and couldn't hook up with you guys. Back on the bike now though so maybe next time! Here's a link to the Bush Creek trail from the Saddle, ua-cam.com/video/SO496dj-ftQ/v-deo.html
I’m glad Zack enjoyed the bike , I’ve got a Deviate Guide with the same characteristics!
I like the look of the Deviate. It is great to see these small companies doing something different.
Love the back shots. Enjoying the videos from your trip
“Like all good dads army rides ! If your in trouble you get left behind”🤣😂
Would expect nothing less. Great riding with you today. Had to go home for a nap .
@@bestdayevermtb2 knackard myself, good fun today great ride 😊
you can get a mount for under the seat which gives a great view of following riders
I've tried that, ya can't do any jumps if its positioned there as the wheel hits the camera!

Thanks for that. I love it down there and Rude Rock is a nice fun track.

Sounds awesome. I am hoping to do the same thing myself.
Love these tracks

That looks like a real fun trail that one, sort of like eagle vs Shark but a little bit different

Fun trails and vid....But why couldn't Zak have ridden it as a Hardtail?
I don't think he wanted to risk doing permanent damage to the shock.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Not a rental then?...Rentals are made to be damaged lol
@@chrisreid3907 No these were all our own bikes. Zak does hire a bike in next weeks video.
Zak couldn’t handle a hardtail 🤣
I think he need to explain why he’s wearing knee pads while driving the van
Great video great scenery, Brook sure is fast coming off the corners. Rear facing camera adds a nice prespective to your video
Brooke corners so much better than me.
Love Rude Rock, a spectacular trail. I do hate that list or messed up footage… it hurts.
I remember the first time I rode Rude Rock. It was like nothing I had ridden before.
beautiful
Thanks for not showing the bit where I managed to crash in to myself at the very bottom.
Couldn't find it or it would have been there.😁
Its still locked in my head 😂

Love your video Lance! What size of tyres are you using? 27.5 or 29?
The Zerode is 27.5

@@bestdayevermtb2 n+1!
Oh Yeah I just subscribed hope that helps Mate👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠️☮
Thanks for that it really does help. Most people think I am mad but I have a plan and the bigger the channel the easier my plan will be.
Feeling the gopro pain! those videos would've been gold👌sorry 😂
Thanks. Have lost some great footage over the years. Wouldn't want to be a wedding photographer and loose the footage.
How about a 360degree camera otherwise interesting footage👍👍👍😎💨🏴☠️👌
I really don't like the footage from them. It simply looks weird to me. They may get better with time.
Now you’re just flat out making me jealous 😂. Looks like I’ll be seeing you next weekend…
Yes I saw you were entered. Should be fun.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Yes, should be. Never been there before so looking forward to it. Unfortunately the others can’t make it so I’ll be there solo.
we are old men we are allowed too puff
And that’s why we love Lance’s channel and the Dad’s Army crew. 👍👍

Thanks for that information. We did end up in Arrow town at the end of the ride for lunch and a beer. May catch up next time.
