I was a quick 20 minute drive from this performace.... but I was 12 years old 😭😭. What a special time for rock music in Canada. so excited to see Preoccupations and Cindy Lee touring together!!
lllIl lIlll I’m obsessed with their tone. Specifically Pat’s tone with his telecaster. I just sent an email to the guys in Preoccupations to try and find out.
@@synthmalicious7541 It seems that pat plays with a lot of treble and a lot of spring reverb, at least on the records that's what I get from it. Playing close to the bridge also get that super sharp sound he has. He's also just ridiculously good at guitar
@@snoopdoge191 Thanks for the link to their equipboard, I didn't even know that existed. Also that's what I assumed they got their tone from, it took me a while to get that they used spring reverb though because they often don't use the units that have the signature 'drip' that spring reverb does.
@@chrisbarany I agree, good thing it didn't. I'm not trying to throw shade even if my last post kind of seemed that way. They were an amazing band. RIP Chris Reimer.

I love this band. They sound a lot like very early Pink Floyd--without copying.
i'm really surprised he's actually playing that fucking xylophone or whatever and its not sampled. swag

I love this band but this is the first time seeing a live clip and holy shit they cannot sing lol
That's what they said about Dylan too. Good thing it never stopped him.
