Great review! I've been waiting for them to be back in stock bcs i don't wanna wait indefinitely after ordering but every review i've seen seems to be really positive. Looking forward to them being in stock and having faster shipping.
So nice to see you enjoy the hell out of that thing! I'm also in the market for a kit, found an official dealer over in Germany (Essen) where I want to order my kit as well. How is your experience with the flexing of the deck and the battery holder maybe kicking against the deck? Noticed anything like that?
Could you please try to answer this question if you see it, i find it really hard to get that info.. What weight do you get with your board all set up with the kit? you can find out if you weight yourself on a scale first and then with the board. You would make my day ! sounds weird i know haha
nice, I wanted to get a job this summer so I could get one, but corona ended those plans real quick. Did you receive the kit yet? also if you did, how is it and how fast does it go?
Which part of Japan? Was it in virus lockdown at the time? So few people out -- is that normal? How is the range? Have you tried it on any hills? Thanks for the video!
@@davetastic6620 i am planning to get 2battery bundle too~ got to optimize that swappable batt feature 👍🏻 I am thinking of getting the extended+standard batt.. might use it for out of the country 🤙🏻 Hope to see more of your Revel review and adventures.
I have my eyes on this kit for quite a long time now and im just really concerned about the motors being exposed and too close to the ground im afraid that rocks would really ruin the motors.
Your foot placement and weight distribution are causing the wobble, not the hardware. You need MOST of your weight centered over front axle. Square your shoulders over the front wheels andim sure you can go over 40 without wobble. Crazy difference seriously
@@davetastic6620 it could be but it doesnt have that "clean" look that the boosted does. I guess functionality is more important than aesthetics though.
@@sottosotto4056 I can tell you after trying a few boosted boards along with many other boards using hobbywing remotes I have done over 1400 KM on my revel kits. I much prefer the revel remote. It gives such a smooth acceleration and deceleration curve. So far nothing I have tried can beat the feeling of it. Not even close. Lots of people people say they don't like them but probably they have not tried it for more than a minute.
Those roads look and sound SUPER clean and smooth.

Hope you enjoy it!
Get the 4WD best investment ever.
I also love the Revel kit. Direct drive and safe braking.
BTW, Beware of policemen. There are so many people living in Setagaya.
Never got stopped so far, even when near Koban :p
You're in Japan! Love it there. I also have the Revel and excited to switch boards with it. That Tarab looks good.
I'm new, but I already love your videos
You crack me up dude. Thanks for the video. I think you convinced me to go ahead on the Revel kit.
I’ve been waiting for my kit too come in. It’s been taking a while tho. Great review.
were you now able to get your kit ? how long is the usual shipping time in your case?
That remote is reminiscent of the ones used by Yuneec (old electric skateboard brand)

I had the same worries but so far I had no issue with Flex 2 and battery banging. I wouldn’t go more flexy though

Cool looking city
Great video! Great choice of decks. I also am going to purchase a spare battery. I’m also waiting for mine to arrive(:

Yo I'm in tokyo and I build electric boards too. good stuff
Wonderful review, good job dude!

Yeeeey! They deliver to Japan!!! How much did you pay (shipping included) 😀
Around 100.000, 10.000 was shipping at that time. I got the kit with 2 batteries

Nice video, does the remote feel cheap and plastic or somewhat quality?
The remote feels very good. I’d say same as any other remote. I never feel its cheap or low quality when I use it
Great review! Love the cat..
You really fkn like it then hey? 🤣
Lol nice review and that ending made me laugh..👌
I bought one, just waiting for it to arrive.
Enjoy!
Cool T-shirt ;)
U deserve 100 times more subs than u have 😀👍
True dat.

Keep over 90mm wheels and you should be good. Go bigger for more clearance if you live in a bumpy area
You better pull the trigger asap because I ordered mine almost 2 months ago and it gets here tomorrow
sweet video!

Thanks for the feedback! Not hard to tell that I'm a newbie. :)
(But no plans to go anywhere near 40. Enough crashes with my bike taught me)
Or tightening the kingpin could help. It happens on most esk8 kits. You looked like you had fun bro! 👍
6:42 much nicer than exway ? You need to do some research on the Exway Flex my dude....
That was towards to the X1 Pro with the stiff deck. I'm sure the Flex is a fantastic board as well
For such a clean looking kit, that remote looks cheap af.
The remote is really good tho!

just saying but no one should use the revel kit on wet roads
