Thannkkkk youuu for this video, im thinking on buying it but i just dont know how to use the microphone that you clipped on your clothes. Could you make a video on that? The way you sync audio and video with this camera and that microphone?
Awesome video! I love mine too and I have almost every accessory they make for this. May want to do a video with testing all the accessories myself. Anyway I just subscribed so I can support ya. Best of luck with the channel!
Sorry for the late reply. Different cameras and different usecases. DJI Pocket 2 is a nice mini gimbal for cool smooth shots, but the insta360 ONE R is an actioncam that can take a beating and is waterproof. I'd pick the insta360 unless you have a specific usecase for those smooth gimbal shots.
Just so everyone knows you can transfer all video files from the Insta 360 via USB. Once connected you have to turn the Insta 360 on. If you do not turn it on it will just charge.
I contacted insta360 about this. So, you can transfer to the PC without problems but not into the app on your phone. For that you need their special cable. Some cables work, some don't. I don't have more than one USB-C to lightning cable but I tried heaps of USB-C to USB-C cables to hook it up to the iPad and the 6th I tried finally connected.
Was this review done before, or after the 1.1.0 firmware update on April 1st? Supposedly they improved boot time, did something to wind noise reduction, and added POV+ mode for the 4k module, so I've been looking for real world reviews on whether or not the update actually did anything noticeable
12:33 what mic set up are you using here? It’s the best sounding for sure. Is it the zoom with s Lab mic plugged into it? The zoom is in your pocket when you walk away? Thanks!!
Yep, that’s a Rode lavalier mic clipped to my sweater, attached to a zoom h1n in my pocket. You could also directly record into your phone instead of the recorder with the right setup though
Hi David, I saw your video on the itpec engineer exam, and got my hopes up in regards to working in Japan. The thing is that I have not found the recommended literature anywhere and I thought I could perhaps bother you with the books you studied from.
This is the wrong video haha. I got my books from the philnits website. I just contacted them, sent the money through western union and they shipped me the books. I sold mine already sadly
In this video I used the insta360 app. For everything more complex / longer I use the studio app on my PC! Mainly because the app can't batch export and going 1by1 through the videos is annoying
I don’t have an android but you can read the card with a normal card reader. Just that the files are insv files and there is no way (on iOS at least) to get them into the insta360 app for editing
I just can't see spending $500 on a little box camera. I mean, camera's in phones are so ubiquitous and cheap... how do you justify a camera and camera only... it does nothing else... be $500. You can get a darn good smart phone that does it all with camera for $50. Also, how am I to know how long the software is going to be support under Windows 7... if it even is any more... or if I can edit that weird propreitary 360 footage in Sony Movie Studio... if it's not.

Wow, great review! Clear and articulated, I really managed to get a good look at the functionalities of the camera and the results.

Would you recommend dji pocket 2 instead of 360?

This was all done on 1.1.16, that’s the version that’s still on my camera and I haven’t updated since the video
Great video! Keep it up and stay safe!

@@davetastic6620 Ok, thank you for answering. I'm going to try to contact them, hopefully they send me a list so I can buy them locally.
How Did you render the Insta360 videos on its Insta App or some other software. Also pl upload some 360 videos. Thanks

@@davetastic6620 Thanks, Nice video.
Hi, How do I turn off the oneR mic while recording? I'm getting wind screeching static noise while I'm riding my motorcycle. Thank You, Mike
Just don't use the audio in post. No need to turn the mic off (not possible)
Are you still unable to pop out the sd card and insert it in your phone and upload. (Android phone specifically)

The one I have is 1.1.16
