If you think for a second she writes her own music you're a fool. This music is written by produces who know the formula required to make songs commercially viable in an effort to make as much money as possible. It's the anthesis of art.

This song is important because it is addressing the struggle that we all go through, the struggle of connection to another, particularly when you live in isolation and surrounded by silence addressing the issue of loving and being loved. Relationship struggles nothing like them.😢 However its about the need to be consoled when you die inside, and you don't come alive again, because the pain and grief is to great, the need to be consoled. We heal differently, we are deep, and meaningful but we grieve and we heal differently, when that need is not beng met its awful and you are left alone and there is no together.. All her songs really resonate with me but this one really hit hard. Especially when she sings the part about "cried and missed your mother" My Mum died a few years ago and the lyrics really hit home hard. I do cry and miss my Mum all the time. I'm sure lots of ppl feel the same, but I honestly feel like Tones got up in my head and wrote this song about my mood and me missing my Mum and shutting everyone out since her death.
