This song just hit me the other day when I was in a store. It's what it felt like for me to carry around all the shame and guilt coming out of a relationship with a pathological narcissist. She has the MUSIC INDUSTRY (the machine)pushing her and yet u have independent artist doing it all on their own from the instruments(sound) and writing and the overall edits and final cut then make a low to mid level music video budget that are out doing the MACHINE at their own game and the independent artist will never get promoted or played on local radio... Take all that away(the machine pushing her on radio and interview and high dollar budget but still give her writers and instruments and do all the edits and cuts)from her and I bet she wouldn't even have gotten a quarter of the views vs a independent artist who have to work harder...
What more do you want from the machine??? They are throwing fist's full of cash at her music as it is now....????
