On point 👌 I believe I used 14 or 15-105 gauged strings when phenomena came out.. I think Joe still uses 110 bass strings for this tuning.105's are PLENTY enough though lmao! If you have a Floyd Rose or similar to one, all you have to do is ground out/route your locking nuts to fit two nasty bass strings (don't worry it won't effect how your strings set when you decide to use normal strings again) as for setting the strings into the bridge.Get a needle nose pliers and unwind some of the bass string, just enough to set down into the bridge.Make sure you add another spring to your bridge other wise there's too much tention.Surprisingly, it's not muddy sounding whatsoever! Especially with nice pickups.Happy shredding 🤘

Open Wounds is definitely a cool song, although there are some parts which would be very! tricky to play for me like the solo or the melody with the excessive use of the whammy pedal, which I don‘t have… Anyway, these days I dont have time for any cover anyhow, but I will keep this one in the back of my head, thanks!!!

The tuning I used is F C F A# D# G C low to high.
