- Practicing “one-touch” shooting in sled hockey is critical for improving your ability to score in game situations. Rarely do you have more than a half second to prepare to take a shot, so you better have the skills to have a quick release on both hands! Important: this drill can be done at any angle or point on the ice-be sure to practice this skill in a variety of situations and positions relative to the net.

Great video and I have a question what is great shooting drills for one handed person.
@@simonsimmons5439 thank you! You could practice the same thing but try to not let the puck touch your backhand before shooting. A simple “catch and shoot” or a one timer.
