450hp is plenty of power for a boat like this! 900hp would be overkill, but 2250hp? Dumb poseur territory, by great news for the outboard salesman! Apart from wasting money on excess engines, fuel and maintenance, the weight distribution requires a load of extra ballast up front to counter the unnecessary extra weight of 3-4 engines. Have a look on UA-cam for countless video of in competent skippers sinking boats like this.
