The only real blocker is that the Switch isn't pocket-sized, while the 3DS is. ...An interesting workaround, though, would be to add a feature to the NSO phone app to have _your phone_ collect streetpasses and transmit them to your Switch when you return home...

After looking back at it, Mii Plaza is really special. I think it’s really cool to see how much people back then had a 3DS / 2DS system back in the day, that many people in the same places as you had a system. It’s like an automated digital greeting.

This is my first time hearing that the mini games have different names in America
Here in the UK, Find Mii is called ‘StreetPass Quest’ and Battleground Z was called ‘StreetPass Zombies’ among other names
Some of the name changes in the UK are definitely improvements (like zombies) but some are a bit generic

Your comment reminded of the localisation being why I wanted to import an E region (European) 3DS and/or Wii U instead of the U region (North American) consoles that were sold here in Singapore as part of the weird "Middle East and Southeast Asia" system region.

I love streetpass mii plaza so much! I remember Nintendo had the streetpass relays where you can go to McDonald’s, Home Depot, and Best Buy for streetpasses but it’s not a thing anymore and same thing with national and international streetpass too as those were great! Thankfully I have all the mii plaza DLC games and I have all the hats but not the greeting ballons which that needs to be finished. My favorite memories for streetpass is national and international streetpass weekends, getting streetpasses in malls, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Six Flags Magic Mountain almost to LA and Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo.
