For anyone wondering, the woman at twitch con isn't paralyzed, just broke her back ("just" broke her back I know). The video also isn't bad at all, she jumps in and it looks pretty normal, but lies there for a sec moving her legs and stuff saying she can't get up, but she can clearly still move around, it's probably just too painful.

is Kazuya's God Fist better? It looks like it has more range but maybe it's just the animation that looks different
its superior in every way. Damage, hitbox (nearly twice as big), speed, tracking, boundless, wall carry potential, etc... In season 2, Jins EWHF use to have some benefits over EWGF but after season 3, it's inferior in every way.

Why do people say jin is so difficult to play? Youve got literally anything and his combos arent particularly hard

Common answer to that topic is that you have to use a wide variety of his move list to unlock his full Potential.
Especially comparing jin and kaz you can kind of see this. Kaz has a very Limited move pool which makes him tough in execution as you rely on CD moves like ewgf and hell sweeps for mix up.
Jin has these moves+a bunch of different tools so you need to incorperate alot more different moves depending on the Situation which makes him more a toolbox character. I think execution is a little easier as you dont rely as much on cd moves but again you need more moves in general.
From my personal experience i find the good jin combos also a little Tricky.
@@Corey91666 I dont think i agree. You have a lot of moves, but you dont really need to use all of them or even the majority of them. Having a bunch of good moves, you typically tend to only use them.
@@matejstemberk8110 i dont say you need to use all moves but the more options you have to deal with different situations the more complex the character gets. (Yoshimitsu)
If you can deal with your opponents using a few moves fine. Im pretty sure you can do that with most characters. But its far from optimal. I can play kaz without cd3 or ewgf etc. Saving me alot of input if i rely on df2 or ws1,2 or ws2 or ch4 or whatever other options you have for ch launchers and what not as long as you have a 50/50 kaz can still Work. And this is true for any character.
Dunno how good you are but chances are you might be better.
But thats my understanding of the jin Situation.

Watching this, Kazuya needs 13f standing twin pistons back. For the "defensive lord" character, you sure have to work hard with a just frame move to actually get the potential out of him, especially when his range sucks and a lot of -13f moves will be too far away to punish.
If not that, then he needs the best backdash and sidestep in the game. Don't know how he has no movelist and shit movement, but they'll give huge backdashes to little girl characters with endless strings and crushmoves.

We all know Kazuya isn't going to die, again. Whether he wins or loses his fight with Jin is a different story however. I hope it ends satisfactory on both sides.

True, but he is balanced by his difficulty and the fact that you have to be robotic to always pick the "broken" option in any situation. But I am pretty sure in some kind of A.I. matchup Jin would be gruesomely unstoppable.

I think tmm broke it down accurately before. Jin is an "all round" character because he has moves for about every situation, BUT he isn't exactly the best with those tools. Jin in the right hands is a force but if you can't optimize him it'll be extremely hard to manage against more experienced players.
