truly packed with features, including two-way communication for monitoring of battery voltage. personally I'm getting one for its ability to quickly bias the throttle and brake separately for my nitro truck. although many transmitters can do this, the g7p can be set up to do it as quickly as my old 27mhz analog HI/LO volume knobs
I just bought one, and when testing it out I found the response for the steering was sluggish. I changed servo frequency, I changed servos, still was draggy and glitchy around the neutral point. Although this radio has a lot of programing ability, it also has some drawbacks. I did not like how the main screen would not show the sensor info for attached sensors. I did not like the cheap plastic construction. I understand it's only a $75 radio so I would have accepted that. But the steering issue was unacceptable. For a rock crawler it probably would not matter. But for a faster on road car, or a FE boat, it was not acceptable. So I returned the radio.
The one surprise i got with this new radio is that the RX that comes with it is NOT SVC capable and there isn't currently an RX available for it that is. I felt more than a little let down when I got my G7P and realized this to be the case.

My complaint with the gt5 was you couldn't change switch positions and channel assign, this has been added to this radio so am keen to give it a go. Cheers mate 👍
yeah not being able to assign the giro to a channel with a dial is just annoying,no adjustment on the fly ,even a 30$ dumbo has that. Can this do that?
Mine didn't come with the foam wheel or any of the accessories you got. Kind of sucks cause i partially bought it after seeing all the stuff you got but I haven't used it yet so it may still be worth the money. Thanks for another good review.
GT5 does mixing on channel 3 so that's not new. GT5 is what I use for my 4WS rigs. Got my 1st GT5 with my Gen8 Axe and Got a second one so I can bring a friend out with another RC from my team if they don't have a driver. The RX talk back is nice for telemetry information, heat and battery info is key, speed would be even better. for $19 RX I would be amazed if it had an accelerometer.
Timely. We're looking for a multi-vehicle Tx for my wife, who's new to the hobby. I like the 7 ch capability. She'll like the low $ receivers. Thanks for the review!
Range test just reduces the transmitting power (dec=decreased) Common on all air radios. You would walk a determined distance from your receiver and see when you loose signal, without having to walk super far. That scales up to full range.
since i replaced the voltage regulator with a more efficient one tripling the battery life of my gt3b it works good enough, i just wished i could find the compatible receivers with the gyro, can never find any from US seller once in a while a few will show up from a china or hong kong with a 4 to 6 week shipping time which is too long......
I purchased the RedCat Everest 10 and I also have a reverse steering kit. Will this transmitter let me control reverse steering as I need it? I don't want reverse steering engaged all the time. Also if you know how to set it up on the transmitter could you make a video please?

Question about the amperage capabilities of receivers in general. Do you or anyone else know how many amps a receiver can supply? Ive never liked the added wiring associated with becs so I've always purchased escs based on how many amps they're able to deliver through the internal Bec. The other day I noticed one of my flysky receivers had a 2 amp marking but I can't find anything in the specs about amps. It would be a shame for me ESC to be capable of 6 amps whilst me receiver was only capable of 2 amps.

After watching your video I bought the fleshy G7p transmitter and receiver. I was trying to add some expo to the power curve. In other videos the curve would go positive and negative expo.
