I purchased the RedCat Everest 10 and I also have a reverse steering kit. Will this transmitter let me control reverse steering as I need it? I don't want reverse steering engaged all the time. Also if you know how to set it up on the transmitter could you make a video please?
I wish they'd review the Sanwa M17, Fly Sky Noble N4, and N4 Pro... :P Maybe a comparison with the receivers.. seems you can get telemetry like battery voltage, motor heat, etc.. although it seems these tend to be proprietary features that require specific hardware in order to work properly.
On a crawler like the Danchee Ridgerock, with an appropriate receiver swap, would it be possible with this controller to program it to be able change the different steering modes? Rear wheel steering, crab, etc.
I just bought one, and when testing it out I found the response for the steering was sluggish. I changed servo frequency, I changed servos, still was draggy and glitchy around the neutral point. Although this radio has a lot of programing ability, it also has some drawbacks. I did not like how the main screen would not show the sensor info for attached sensors. I did not like the cheap plastic construction. I understand it's only a $75 radio so I would have accepted that. But the steering issue was unacceptable. For a rock crawler it probably would not matter. But for a faster on road car, or a FE boat, it was not acceptable. So I returned the radio.

I wish they would stop introducing new protocols all the time for no (real) technical reasons. In the end it's just cheap electronics (and often the same ICs/chips). For quads and planes you can get really cheap radios, a multitude of channels and with open source OpenTX/EdgeTX, which can be programmed to make basically everything, besides coffee, maybe. And there is a (also open source) multiprotocol module firmware that supports lots of different protocols. There is even a complete open source protocol now with ExpressLRS. Some radios even come now with integrated MPM and ELRS. And the bigger ones even have touch screens and big color displays and other stuff you don't really need, but still get (if you want), because the hardware is so f**** cheap. You can get all this stuff easily for the price of a Flysky NB4 (which isn't programmable nearly as good as OpenTX and only supports one protocol). I know that surface vehicles don't need that much stuff, but still, I wish there was something similar available, because we would get *a lot* more for less money. The manufacturers just want you to bind yourself to a certain product/protocol and buy their receivers, while at the same time, they limit your possibilities just for product policy and want you to spend even more money on devices, that can do things the cheaper ones would also do, if they hadn't been limited in the first place. Like the GT3B/C and the i6 with custom firmwares that give you a lot more options and functions for free.
The one surprise i got with this new radio is that the RX that comes with it is NOT SVC capable and there isn't currently an RX available for it that is. I felt more than a little let down when I got my G7P and realized this to be the case.

Question about the amperage capabilities of receivers in general. Do you or anyone else know how many amps a receiver can supply? Ive never liked the added wiring associated with becs so I've always purchased escs based on how many amps they're able to deliver through the internal Bec. The other day I noticed one of my flysky receivers had a 2 amp marking but I can't find anything in the specs about amps. It would be a shame for me ESC to be capable of 6 amps whilst me receiver was only capable of 2 amps.

Is it because you have the sense that your viewers tend to buy these budget radios? Or do you just like to collect them?
