Great video and instructional. I was getting ready to order a new DX5C for my new VS4-10 Pro build but I think I'm going to give this one a shot. Thanks.
I have a few of these Dumborc ..... Several rigs attached to each.... Problem is, no memory. You have to trim up everything every time.... Super annoying, and with many rigs it gets to be more a hassle
I’m waiting one for my trial truck. But I’m not liking the gamble on getting the foam wheel. It’s like some get the plastic some get the foam. Can’t get a clear answer on different salers to get a foam wheel
Me and my grandson whould put your old lol things if you need space we have Traxxas stuff but very open to try others . I enjoy your program! Thanks for putting the time that you put into it Man. Mike ✌️
Awesome! Is that gps used for speed? I’ve been wanting to “upgrade?” From my gt5 to this for a bit. Kinda bummed it won’t work with the other Flysky receivers.
I have a flysky gt5 that’s eh. Love love love my Dumbo for the models that I don’t think I’ll need to fine tune much. Or that all the tubing can be sone via esc. Response time, accuracy and range are all top notch. Receivers around 15-20 depending if you want the gyro receiver or not. Binds to unlimited RC’s due to not having model memory Love telemetry though and that’s a sharp looking transmitter!
I actually, did replace all my remotes with this one. The standard receiver I use on my crawler, and I bought a couple receivers with the integrated Gyro, for my buggy and rally rc.
@@keven8047 In high speeds the RC can crash when the steering is off just q little bit The Gyro stabilizes the RC with small steering corrections, to keep it driving straight.
The real problem that we should all be railing against is RTR radios in general. Why does EVERY car need its own radio, when one can do the job for many. It's a waste. And it costs more. No options at all to buy just the chassis anymore. It's frankly stupid.
I couldn't agree more. Put out two versions. RTR and ARTR. Heck the ARTR they can add a few factory upgrades. Like Axial did with the Wraith RTR vs kit version.
yes I boycot that andnow buy a Flysky only used with 7 receivers. Snd they should sell the receivers seperately for decent prices. In the beginning of 2000 people bought Futaba Attack2Er which was cheaper as 1 receiver alone, just to get the receiver and throwed away the rest of the box. I was angry and boycotted the market. Now I only buy 2nd hand.
I've had mixed luck with flysky radios. I have two gt3-cs. One seems to work great with nice range.... the other has mediocre range and is susceptible to interference causing glitches in steering and throttle input. Can never trust it on my faster vehicles. My gt2 seems to have nice range and I've not had any major issues at all. Like I said very mixed bag and the company offers little to no support.
Looks pretty decent, I have been using fly Sky radio gear for years, it's some of the best. Anything is better than the RTR Spectrum stuff, total garbage
I'd rather use spectrum. U can't compare this to spectrum low end stuff. U have to compare this to there dx6r. U compare the dx2 to fly sky's gt2. The gt2 and gt2e are trash radios. I would take a dx2 over them any day and I run sanwa only on my cars if that says anything
@@SteadfastRC I like my GT5 a lot... only "problem" is it lacks a momentary switch to use on my Arrma Fireteam, so I have to keep using its Spektrum SLT3 transmitter.
I just don't have the I.Q. to work this thing, nothing makes any sense. EVERY time I turn it on it want's me to do another fail safe, WHY? Trying to remember how to navigate every stupid step is rediculous with just 1 button and no arrows or indications of which way to push button. Just changing the model is a pita, I actually shut it off and on every time, just to make sure it's on the right one. Hate it. Had a flysky fsgt3b, it was MUCH better, but had lousy range, was huge, and heavy with 8 AA's! Bought a Radiolink RC4G, it has 4 buttons that look a whole lot more logical, no more flysky crap.
Agree. They suck for racing. I don't even like the Noble's. But they are a great budget option for crawlers though. When ya are barely 5' away from your truck and need 4-5 channels. Rather drop that on rocks over a $400+ sanwa/futaba. 😁
@@jollygreengiant7070 oh for sure lol. I have a m12s for my race stuff and a mx6 for my bashers. I don't need a alot of channels for my bashers so the mx 6 works for me.
@MV-df8jl it's actually the transmitter. Most tracks won't even allow you to use them due to interference issues. Again there ok for driving your little rtr around the yard but they fall short for racing
I picked up a GT3B not long ago and I really like it. I also grabbed a four pack of receivers. Really inexpensive and it looks great 👍
Loving the large screen
Great video and instructional. I was getting ready to order a new DX5C for my new VS4-10 Pro build but I think I'm going to give this one a shot. Thanks.
I'd recommend the Dumborc X6 transmitter with optional gyroscope receiver. The range is close to 600 meters

I have one just like that and it's awesome, great review
Is it possible to adjust the spring tension on the throttle and wheel?
Hello from southeast alaska I hope your day is going well bro
I’ve been wanting something a tad better for 1/10 4wd buggy racing. Cool that it says it has a lap counter. That’s pretty dang cool for $100
enjoyed your review
Good for the price, All my FlySky radios have been reliable.
Pretty nice, but I wonder how much the receiver's run? Spektrum's are 35 bucks and up
Do you know if this supports 3POS channels? I.E., for a servo winch?

Yes

I didn't understand anything... not everyone is experienced

Is the VR2 switch 3 position momentary?
On eBay the cheap price is just for the rx , I have had good luck with my gt5 and my noble, definitely a lot of features for the price.
I got the Noble Pro I love it
Good job bro 👍👍👍

This might be a good radio change for my 7 channel Tamiya Haulers I don't like stick radios, great review Greg thank's for sharing 😉👍
Well this is awkward, I also got a FlySky stick radio to put in my Tamiya MAN TGX hauler. 😂
Is it better than the GT5? I’m still deciding between these.
Can you do a review of KO PROPO EX-NEXT?
Hi greg that link you put up for that controller brings up a dumbo rc one here in the uk dont know if anyone else is havin same problem
Hmm that’s odd. I tried it from my phone and computer and the Flysky shows up. 🤔

The Spektrum box my Dx5 Pro came in wasn't anything special either, and it cost twice as much lol.
How many models can it store and hold?
20 models.
How is the range on it??
It was perfect for me in that big field. FlySky shows the range as >300m.

Flysky is Good Greg, but i more on Futaba Radio because i'm using the brand in most of my RCs, from Tamiya to Traxxas
