I'm not even convinced he's a LEGAL immigrant. He's birth certificate says he was born in Canada. I've seen no indications that paperwork for a US citizen born abroad was ever filed by his parents (hubs has a child that was born at a military base in Germany and he had to fill out that paperwork, even though she was born on US SOIL there.....Calgary has no US soil installations so that needs to be produced and if never filed, guess what??) or naturalization paperwork filed which would make him ineligible to run for POTUS anyway.

@@jaysinger9941 Sadly, they were both re-elected in 2020, so per the six year terms which senators serve, they will both be up again in 2026.
Best way to remember is that the House Reps go up for election every 2 years, the President every 4, and Senators are six years but staggered at 2 year intervals (so 1/3rd of the Senate is elected every 2 years).
