I always love a simple overhaul like this. Nothing too crazy like those mods where they make Minecraft landscape much bigger and closer to real life, but still add something to the table. To me, this is what Minecraft is missing. Just simple stuff: make some biomes feel more wild and alive by adding small details with unique flora and fauna and add small and simple structures like a small cottage or watchtower in the middle of a forest or a whalefall in the ocean where it's surrounded by different aquatic creatures This is why I'm still angry at Mojang for scrapping the better birch forest. It was everything that I wanted. Taller trees than the average birch forest, mushrooms growing on the tree barks, and new plants growing all over the biome's floor. It makes the forest feel like an actual forest. Bonus: I still want those fallen trees with mushrooms on it on Java. It's been years but I still don't know why they only added it to Bedrock.

This is amazing! There's one issue though - the resource pack doesn't work properly on modded terrain with custom biomes. Tall grass appears completely black in some of them. I've found a quick solution though. The original 'colormap' file is a bunch of lines which I'm guessing are the only necessary ones for vanilla minecraft biomes, but modded biomes can use some different values from this texture. You could update the resource pack just like I did for myself, where you mix the original minecraft grass colormap and your custom one as a layer above it so that the background isn't just black/transparent. I'm not an expert in making advanced resource packs but I think that way it doesn't break anything in the pack and fixes compatibility with other mods.

I've been absolutely loving this resource pack, it feels like a full-on graphics update. Would there be any possibility of making it compatible with some world generation mods? As of now, the colors can get really wonky when used together with mods like WWOO, either turning completely black or using two separate color maps. Being able to use this with vanilla friendly world-gen mods like the aforementioned WWOO or Terralith would let me die happy.

First of all, this resource pack is beautiful, i love every detail! i can see all the effort you put into this. And thanks for the 1.20.1 version of this resource pack, i was searching it in modrinth but i didnt find it, so there's a question. why is the 1.20.1 in google drive and not in modrinth? just asking
thank you so much for your compliment! glad that u liked it! well, Nature X started actually way back since 1.16 and continued developing exclusively for Optifine until version 1.20.4. it was losing popularity because people started switching to Sodium and i was under the pressure to make it compatible with it. So i have completely reworked Nature X and made it compatible with Sodium and that was Nature X - 8.0 which was supported for Minecraft 1.20.5+ and i’ve deleted all of the older versions as the newer one had so many fixes and got so many new feature, and it was compatible both with Optifine and Sodium, it changed so much that i didn’t want the older versions to be used and that’s why there is no pre 1.20.5 version of Nature X available for download. as so many players wanted a version for 1.20.1 i’ve made a custom version of the latest version of Nature X to support 1.20.1, and i didn’t publish it on the main websites of Nature X (including Modrinth) because i didn’t want players to mistaken it with the newer versions that are for 1.21+. version 1.20.1 has critical differences of the newer versions and it will have issues if it was used instead of the newer verisons. so i’ve uploaded it to google drive instead.
thank you so much! yes you can remove the emmisive effects for ores by deleting the ore texture that has an _e in its name (ex: diamond_ore_e). Do this for all types of ores and the emissive effect will be gone. you also need to delete the items that has the _e in their name (example: diamond [the item is used in the diamond ore model and it has emissive effect too] so you need to delete the diamond_e texture too). all of these textures are located in the texture/ block folder. don’t delete any thing that has _e besides the ores and the item of that ore and don’t delete the ores textures or the itmes of those ores that has no _e in their name. if you had any issues doing this pls let me know or i can provide you with a custom version that has this all done in it directly.
i did that by re modeling the block, this adds so many extra cubes which does affect performance a lot but when enabling the cull face option to make all of these extra cubes only generate at the surface not in each layer it improves the performance so much to the point that it doesn’t feel different that much from when playing the game without the resource pack. another easier method is to replace the vanilla shaders for solid blocks with the cut out blocks shaders. this allows all of the solid blocks in Minecraft to accept transparent textures thus implementing the end grass texture. this method isn’t preferred as it affects the performance so much more and on a larger scale (because it affects all solid blocks in your world) while the previous one affects only the block that you are modeling. and it also isn’t supported for some mods such as Sodium which is a huge drawback for me. the first method requires much work but it’s much better. Ive tested it on an intel hd 620 with fps locked at 60 fps maximum and got a stable 57-60 fps in the end biome. thank you so much pls have a great time!

@@hothaifah22 Incredible, that’s where I was getting confused. I never knew generating blocks was possible with resource packs, great stuff my guy
if you make it fast graphics leaves compatible youve got me man (cause those almost every time break the bushy leaves..)
hi! fast graphics [specifically fast leaves option] will make leaves opaque and not have transparent texture. you could use smart leaves option or leave it on fancy to make them work properly.
if you have some performance issue try lowering the render distance and the screen resolution this helps a lot!
im working on enhancing the performance in the upcoming updates too!
this clouds part of resource pack or no?
Does it support roughness values and parallax occlusion?
hi! i didn’t thought of supporting it but it’d be cool if i could so!
i could in the upcoming updates work on it for sure!
@ Thanks for the hard work 🙏
I really hope I can play this but it’s going to be tricky because I’m on bedrock mobile.
This don't affect the world generation? I use chunkbase to find structures
hi! no it doesn’t affect world gen.
Cool :D
I really like this feature, but when I enter a multiplayer server, the fps drops to 1 and the game crashes after a while, after disabling nature the fps stops dropping and the game becomes stable again :( I use 1.21.1 optfine
I wonder if its compatible with biomes o plenty? 🤔 it looks fantastic btw.
thank you so mcuh!
i developed Nature X with stock vanilla (un moded). i didn’t test compatibility with terrain/ generation mods. I’ll work on that and test compatibility for sure!
Really? Thats great to hear, ill be looking forward to your update video @hothaifah22
Yep, I’m totally using this, does the 1.20.5 release work with 1.20.1? If not that’s all good. Thanks a ton, this looks fantastic
thank you so much!
this is a custom version of Nature X made for 1.20.1 and has all the new features of 1.21

Awesome! Thanks a ton, Sorry for the late reply I hadn’t seen this until now 😭
would you consider making this compatible with forge and 1.20.1?
hi! here is the link for 1.20.1 version:
drive.google.com/file/d/1yF4xIFBtGV-tr7tiGLZhTkszCtEURsYC
for the compatibility with forge, it is, u need to have Optifine tho.
pls have a great time!
Is there a way to individually turn off some features in the texture pack🤔
im sorry it’s a full package, i’ve included everything in one package and some features rely on others.
could you tell me which features you’d like to remove? i can provide you with a custom version.
@@hothaifah22(late reply sorry) ahh okay, thank you for suggesting giving me a custom version of the pack that’s extremely kind of you but I’m good I just wanted to know if it was possible to get each texture individually cause I really love the grass texture and was curious to know if it was possible to get it as a stand alone pack. But since you said some textures rely on others I’d rather not put you through the hassle of removing and recoding the texture pack just for something so tiny. By the way I downloaded the pack and it’s amazing, great job!
@@TigrouLBP2it’s totally okay and i’d love to do it!
sure i can provide you with a stand alone pack!
@@hothaifah22is there anyway to contact you? Like email or discord?
@@hothaifah22 my comment got deleted :( but I was asking if there’s a way to contact you for this?
To quote SpongeBob, I NEEEEEEEED IIIIIIITTT!!!!
there will be a 1.20.1 - 6 versions ?
@@DDDORIBOT hi! here’s the link for a 1.20.1 custom version [works for 1.20.2 too]
drive.google.com/file/d/1yF4xIFBtGV-tr7tiGLZhTkszCtEURsYC
and the latest version of Nature X [10.3 as of now] should work just fine for 1.20.3+
Is this available on the Nintendo switch?
hi! im sorry Nature X currently supports the Java Edition only.
But does it work with tectonic/terralith? 🤔🤔
v11.0 is coming soon, it added the compatibility with terrain/ world gen mods.
Hello, for some reason when I installed the resourcepack it turned lava blue
hi! is it in every biome? or only in specific ones? because blue lava is a feature (not a bug) and can be found in the warp forest and soul sand valley biomes (shouldn’t be generating in other biomes)
@@hothaifah22 For some reason it's generating in all biomes for me, and I don't have any other resourcepacks enabled.
@@shocktun3s729so strange! thanks for the feedback!
may i ask what version of Minecraft and Polytone you are using?
I’ve tested the update on 1.21.1 before release and didn’t had this issue. maybe some settings are causing it to happen, i’ll check this issue for sure and provide you with a solution!
thanks again!
@@hothaifah22 the issue somehow dissapeared, thank you for your response
0:40 what biome is this? Resource pack or not that doesn't look vanilla. The trees are too tall
Looks very cool, though the beach looks too much full of life and stuff. It feels unnatural, unlike everything else.
And i dislike that deep dark grass has got glowing spots: it doesn't look like it'd feel deep and dark anymore...
thank you so much!
anything could be toned down a bit (for the beach biome) and the textures of the grass in the deep dark could be changed too. i can help you with getting the desired result that you may would like to have!
Now make it can use with distance Horizon :D
hi! shouldn’t have any issues when used with distant horizons.
@hothaifah22 oh, ok :D
DO THIS IN BEDROCK PLEASE!

Does this work with 1.20.1
im working on a custom 1.20.1 version as many players have asked me for one, i’ll provide u with the download link once it’s done

Plz plz plz port this to bedrock Minecraft marketplace as a addon i would pay alot for a custom biomes addon ❤❤❤
it’s not impossible to simply import Nature X as it is to the Bedrock version of Minecraft as Bedrock has many limitations sadly.
i’ll work on a version that is specifically supported for the Bedrock version of Minecraft and it will be for Free!
@@hothaifah22 thank you very much for that because now I have something to look forward to on addons because of you I'll be waiting till then for it then when it releases I'll be one of the first ones to download it ❤️
I like it except for how the structures take away from Minecrafts loneliness factor. Hope those aren't in the mod and you just build them.
thank you so much! the structures were built by me to expand the vision of the biome.
please have a great time!
I know this is just a resource pack, but I can't help thinking that it looks like Mine-imator...

I know of another Muslim too, he is EnderVerse (UA-camr for minecraft mods) I think he makes modpacks too.
Bedrock?
hi, I’m really sorry. Nature X is only available for Java. For now, Bedrock edition isn’t supported due to limitations.
i could create a simple version later that can work with Bedrock tho.
is this bedrock
this is java.
1.20.1 support PLEASSEEEEE
there is already a custom version for 1.20.1 that ive created, here is the download link:

this music sounds like it's the first ass shader for minecraft ever lmao
AND THE VID IS NOT EVEN ABOUT IT
loll
ok but turn off the shaders now
@@juanelgamer4569 it’s a good idea to play without shaders, i can confidently say that Nature X will still make your world beautiful. try it!
@@hothaifah22 oh i'm sorry idk why i commented that dumb shi like if you weren't gonna see it
what i meant to say is that i wonder how the mod would really look without them, it's just annoying to keep seeing mod showcases always using shaders when that's not really how vanilla mc looks, specially for someone like me who can't handle shaders with good performance
@@juanelgamer4569oh that’s totally okay and i get the point of what you are saying!
I actually never play with shaders (they are so beautiful and their creators have put so much effort into them which i truly appreciate)
i just like to play with the vanilla graphics and i get that some if not most players would like to play with shaders as they enhance the graphics so much!
the first trailer of Nature X actually was recorded without shaders and with the second one i wanted to make the trailer more interesting by including them, ive used the sildures enhanced default shaders as they are the most vanilla friendly ones [they add shadows, reflections, and wavy stuff] but keeps the vanilla feel!
i didn’t want to use something very dramatic or drastic.
thx again and thx for your opinion i appreciate it sm!
Looks like a Minecraft Ripoff, unless its a Minecraft Mod 🙃
it’s a texture pack
