I think the pickle is Singaporean nonya achar (there are different variations like Indian, Nepalese, Burmese etc). You can find the recipe online and try to make it. Pretty easy and delicious.
Mikey, why don't you have a Priority Pass Lounge Membership? With coach traveling, it would really serve you both Domestically & Internationally! I used this for my inter-Spain travels as well as in the USA, where Lounges, are not offered on most US airlines.
Of course they speak English in Singapore, it is the main language. Britain used to rule Singapore. It's like being surprised Australians speak English

Thanks for uploading and showing us all the great meals ... even when you miss dessert o.O who skips the sweet stuff. so this morning was the second time watching foreign food videos saved me from being a hungry zombie. I got to work at 6:40 am or so, and my co worker who opens up was not there yet. I had a bowl of grits I made from home, a raw egg i intended on frying at work, and two hotdogs (a meat i must be either desperate or craving to eat) so no one is there, and no one has to really be to work until 7:30. I could not wait because 30 mins is not enough time for me to eat and set up the classroom to recieve the children. What do I do? I did it like Japan! :-} I threw the raw egg into the grits and mixed well. It.... was.... delicious! I now understand what others mean when they describe the combination of raw egg in cooked rice as creamy. It was really REALLY good. The lady came to open up so even though I was already enjoying my meal I boiled the hot dogs because I'm a moderate eatter. The hot dogs ruined the whole thing. What I ate, was only consumed because I don't waste edible food.

Whenever you’re faced with Indian food and pickled vegetables, always combine. A lot of Indian rice is served with mango pickle (rind or soft pickled mango) and adds a really fun vinegar-y kick! I usually buy the unripened whole green pickled mangos for cooking at home

That grenade mug you have there is actually also something you could buy, not sure where I seen it though. For your flights, it may help out to pin a UA-cam tag on your shirt or have something that clearly states it. It may help you get a better seat. I know a few that did that and it seems to work from time to time :p Order food in advance? I never knew that was a option, thanks for the tip!
How do you go about filming videos like this, in crowded spaces? Do you ask everyone around you first whether they mind or not? Do you just tell them? Do you start filming without prior "warning"? Does this get awkward at times? I recently tried filming a food vlog style video and that felt really awkward. How do you deal with "being weird" in the eyes of people around you while filming?
Ikr. If I was behind him, I would not like someone filming in front of me. I would probably tell him to blur me out afterwards but overall, I would be uncomfortable still.

mopsmopped101 nobody really pays attention to someone filming as much as you'd think. If anything they try to stay out of the shot.
