HiHi!! My first in-depth for the basics of using Piapro Studio, this is NOT a tuning tutorial this is just for getting used to the basics of Piapro and unpacking a voicebank as a bonus!

Something to note that if you only have the V3 voicebanks and not any of the V4X vbs, you won't be able to access features exclusive to the V4X version of Piapro Studio (eg. growl, pitch snap, and cross synths)

THANK U OMFG my mom is getting me the megurine luka v4x for christams so im gonna get the demo for rin and len soon to practice! since i heard megurine luka v4x was hard to tune. One question since we have the same type of computer can u give me some small tips on the install? like how much space does it take up and stuff lol

I have an Asus Zenbook with quite little storage and it holds my 5 vocaloids quite well (I currently have KAITO, Luka, Rin and Len & Kiyoteru... And I'm planning on getting Gackpoid for my birthday lol) but the only thing you'll notice that downloading a lot of USTs and VSQs can quickly take up that storage so I keep my vocaloids on my laptop but all my projects, files and whatnot on a USB stick which is pretty cheap to get.
Hope this helps and I hope you have fun with Luka, she has an incredible voice and is very fun to tune but is a bit tricky... Though I think Rin can be hard to tune too. ^^
How do I turn on those red lines? Mine doesn't have that and I can't figure out the setting.
It should be on the right hand side of the screen, there should be a row of 6 circular icons. It's the first icon you see, just give it a click and it will turn red. But this option is only for the Piapro V4x not for V3 unfortunately.

Hi! There should be a little "+" icon on the left side of the screen, click that and Miku should pop up. If not, find the folder where you installed Miku and install her from there, make sure you active her in the Vocaloid4 folder located in your programsx64(?) folder if you bought her and not using her demo version. Hope this helps!

Hello! Yes Miku V4x will come with Studio One Artist, Piapro Studio and Mutant (which is an addon but I'm not sure what Mutant does haha) and off course Miku herself, there isn't anything else you need since Crypton Vocaloids come with everything ^^

I have a question, at 1:44 the Piapro studio VSTi isn’t there for me, is this because I have the free version of studio one, do I need the artist version or did I mess something up?
@@CozyAxolotlBread._. Did you install the version of Studio One that comes with a crypton vocaloid? You have to plonk the VSTi in the VSTi folder. I'm not at my laptop right now so I'll update it in a bit.
@@Kitsune-P I think I installed studio one prime, at the top right it’s missing the piapro logo

So you need to make sure your Piapro Studio VSTI.dll is in the VSTplugins folder located in your OS (C drive) and you go to Program Files and that VSTplugins folder should be located in there. I believe if the folder isn't there just make one. If you still get stuck check the PDF file located in your Crypton Vocaloid's "Documents" Folder.

I cant figure out what error 10 means, I made one song and I tried to do the other but it said paipro cant attach to more then only one track.
Huh, I've never had an error 10 before I don't think. Piapro unfortunately is a bit buggy, so usually closing it and opening can work, if not uninstalling and reinstalling might fix it. If it carries on the Vocaloid reddit usually knows or just typing the error into Google to find forums might work.
Hope the problem gets fixed, it's annoying Crypton won't update Piapro for windows anymore but they do for mac users.

thanks for this tutorial, it was very helpful! But the issue is.. i cant come into piapro studio It says that i must update it, (even tough its a mac update and i have windows..) SO, i cant come into piapro without updating it and idk what to do now-
You're more than welcome! With the Mac updates you should be able to just click out of them if you're on Windows, is there anything else it says? Or is it the mac update window?

hello!! i accidentally installed piapro and the voice bank before studio one, and the crypton instrument isn't showing up. i unistalled piapro and redownloaded it, but it still isn't showing up :( pls help, tysm!!

How do you have that red line thingy?and I have a proplem that my Len doesnt sing,he just talk
You'll have to input a singer and some notes to get the red lines, a small box in the top right corner should come up with a little round line with a V shape on it, just click on that (Hopefully that made sense lol.) Also if it sounds like Len is just talking you might need to change the bend depth and length which I have covered in a talkloid tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/P0TQvJVk3Ok/v-deo.html

Unfortunately i get the The host application turns off the Piapro Studio plug-in. not allowing me to hear miku or really do anything, i have no idea how to fix it and the fixes that they give dont really seem to work or even effect anything. My laptop is pretty new and has a 4070, so i doubt the specs are of any issue and idk how to deal with audio stuff when i legit just installed it. Any suggestions?
@@flixytip4571 hi! Unfortunately Piapro is buggy and does tend to do things even if the computer specs are perfectly fine and working. Sometimes a simple uninstall helps but I'm not entirely sure. Make sure all of your audio settings work fine, if it's not that then it's a bug with Piapro, and they never update their software unless it's for Mac. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. If it continues, the vocaloid reddit is a good place to go to ask.
@@Kitsune-P hey thanks for the tip, I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the entire download about 4 times just to stop getting the E02 error with studio one 6, and then ran into this. I guess I’ll hit up the Reddit and see. Thanks
@@flixytip4571 yeah I had the E02 error a while back as well, I'm not sure how I fixed it, it was trial and error unfortunately.

Say I want to make a cover of a song (I am), how would I be able to line up the vocaloid track with the audio track to make sure it lines up correctly?
I usually put both the finished vocaloid audio and the off vocal in a program like audacity and I pray and hope I can line it up ^^;
How do i open piapro in FL Studio? I feel so stupid... i think i found it under plugin database-installed-effects-generators but when i open it it says error eo2 >.
nevermind, uninstalling it and reinstalling it through the launcher worked :o
yo on my laptop it says that it fails to load piapro do you have any idea on why this might be? I've tried dragging it to the side many times and trying again but it still says it's unable to load piapro.

I have a Mac I have the pop up but I still can’t get in 😭
You might have to update it since those popups are usually for mac updates but I don't use mac, if you are still having trouble visit the R/Vocaloid community on Reddit.
when you first download it, (without have piapro studio installed) do you download the voicebank first? then piapro studio?
i believe they say in the video they recommend installing piapro studio first and then the voicebank however as long as you install both of them before i think it'll be fine!

I'm not entirely sure, I don't own a v5 voice bank unfortunately. It might be worth asking the r/vocaloid community on reddit.

im not sure if you would be able to help with this, but ive run into a confusing problem.. TT i bought the kagamines v4x bundle, and everything has been properly installed to my knowledge. however when i open studio one it doesnt seem to have the crypton folder with piapro studio in it.. i also do own kaito v3, and so whenever i try to install the setup in the folder for rin and len it says that it is "already installed". i wonder if thats the problem..? ive uninstalled everything and tried again but it didnt seem to change anything ;; kaito works just fine in tiny v3 editor, but thats about it. if you have any idea as to how to fix this please let me know ! this is a great tutorial by the way ^.^💙
Ahh! You need to go into your applications or where you installed and un-packaged your VB and find "activate vocaloid 3/4" I think it's something like that, or it could be "activate Kagamine Rin/Lenv4x" it's something like that. @@Kitsune-P i activated both voicebanks, v4x + english, but nothing seems to have changed T_T i had already activated them last night when i first purchased them as well, i really wonder what the issue might be. after installing piapro studio and mutant, is something supposed to change ? i noticed that the files look different in your video when you opened it in studio one. im sorry for bombarding you with questions, i really do appreciate the help !! :,33

I have a question! Do you know to get rid of “sil” on notes? For example when it’s like this “世” it gives me the no sound? How do I change that :c
Ah those are silent notes, kinda like rest notes in UTAU but if they should be lyrics you'll have to input them manually I'm afraid.

@@Mikushand Yeah sometimes it happens when converting UST to VSQs/VSQx files if you're using the online converter. You can just convert the UST to VSQ straight from the UTAU program itself. I do have a tutorial for that on my DA account but I can't link it because of UA-cam but if you look for KitsuneNoKiba (I'm used to be an MMD user) the tutorial will still be on their. My mixing was a bit terrible when I did this... But there should be audio (I should really remake this tutorial) O.o

@@MC_BONNIE oh right! There could be a few problems, try restarting Piapro or your computer, sometimes it's a computer issue so check your audio settings as well.
