As a retired professor in the medical school of the UM I am very grateful for your strong, uplifting, yet realistic message delivered in your usual convincing, yet calming style. Thank You. I can only wish that our national leader would emulate you. William J. LeMaire, Professor emeritus at the Miller School of Medicine
Thanks Dr. Frenk, your knowledge and experience in the Public Health field is more than welcome in times like this. Thanks for the message and your leadership to guide the U community.
Thank you Mr president for your knowledge and leadership, I have been working in the University of Miami from 1989 in the telecommunication department, you can count on me anytime.
This man is a greedy, facey sociopath doesn’t care about student outcome, lies blatantly (watch his CNN COVID-19 interview), bans students like myself from campus for trying to discuss very serious (felonious) online privacy, Title IX and Section 504 issues, tries to cover it up. Puts image and income over quality, compliance and fairness. He should be asked to leave, but there is so much corruption at this school I doubt it can happen. This is not a good investment. All your tuition payment does is guarantee a life of luxury for this fraud that shouldn’t be entrusted with lives and student welfare. I’m not saying zero good people, but snakes slither in the grass everywhere. This isn’t an attack it’s the truth.
Kudos to Dr Frenk for ordering mandatory online classes for the rest of the trimester @UM. Even if the platform is not designed to handle this volume of users- there are a lot of options and methods (email, teleconference, video conference, different chat platforms, etc.) for instructors to continue teaching via distance learning.
Dr Frenk
Thank you for being the voice of reason and calm, we stand with you and face this together!

Proud that you are our leader.
Can you open a school bus to Dadeland Mall? For those who need to get to campus, this can avoid the risk of infection while riding the crowded metro.
That just make the school bus a potential place for a covid-19 outbreak, you would just push the problem from the metro to the bus.
Very Helpful
