There's a hardened steel pick that spawns at mounds of the dead you can pick up. Its resting on the rocks near the entrance to where blacksmith is (the one in a room on his own). Bit better than a steel pick
Im glad you added the alternative method, as a solo I use this when server hopping, if you hit shaleback cave to get the tools and build your base between the NPC Raiders and Acid Lake you can farm everything needed super fast!

Honestly bro the golem head strat is sooooo good even for solos starting fresh. farming the brim to begin with from sinners refuge will get you lvl 20 to get "beast of burden" and then farming the iron and putting that to craft while getting the recipe and blood crystal from the big rocknose that spawns at the back of Al Meryah every 15 mins. Stone and consolidant are obviously easy aswell.
Yeah that golem heads is definitely the way to go for now until it gets patched eventually. Then it’s back to farming black ice. I’ll try and come up with an efficient route to getting all the mats.

It can definitely be hard to survive the frost temple as a new player. Some areas will still be too cold and that’s where the aloe potions kick in. Just constantly using them to keep your health up as you farm and dodging the frost giant. If you wanna try the alternative method, here is a link to it. I made a route to get all the items. By the time you craft all those, might aswell just go for a steel sickle then do purple lotus, mushrooms, black lotus and redo or also go in Vulcano for Obsidian since ice is easier to get than spice food for black ice and you can also get golden lotus flowers for more xp.
A tips just run straight to mounds, loot boxes and tools u can find in the area stuck in poles and stone just take them wiith e, in the camps u can find hardened steel tools if lucky even star metal weapons and tools, just put bedroll cuz u can get stuck and npcs will one shots u. A little tips check wiki and look for crafting xp, some stuff give high xp :D
Yeah, the chests at the mounds are great too. Possibility of star metal weapons and pick. I just avoided them cause I wanted to keep the guide as simple as possible for new players since those thralls are very strong. :)
Honestly as a solo player I think the alternative method is more appealing, simply because it doesn't require the long travels and potentially dying and losing the loot. The materials needed isn't too bad, and we'd need some time to setup a simple functional base to begin with, and since it is single player, there isn't a concern of building a secure base to protect against raid and whatnot. I tend to base near Executioner's Entrance near the noob river and that cave has plenty of brimstone, and the neighboring Lookout Point has plenty of iron to get the smelters going, something we'd need to do anyways even if we rush to 60 with the main method.

Same glitch happened to me in Shaleback Hollow. Ran past the Shalebacks and found..a void. Then the Shalebacks pushed me off the edge and I fell thru the world, back to the desert. Mentioned it in the subreddit and got called a troll, told it was a 'skill issue'. Copium is strong on Reddit.
How did you survive in the temple without freezing to death? Even using spiced food I still get extremely cold and slowly lose health. I am still using regular non epic medium armor.
You can survive in most parts of the temple just using spicy food and coarse armor. In the parts where you still get frostbite, you need to constantly heal using the aloe potions while you’re farming the black ice.
As a solo I find it takes approx. 2-3 hrs to level with heads. Normally level up to about 30 farming the mats plus some other good stuff for xp then use heads from there....
@2:00 lights are now also broken in conan? what is still working after the disastrous aow year? the in-game privacy statement and micro-transactions? maybe the hacks in PvP still work? the game definitely doesn't.
@@Zelosykes I don't think so, there is the recipe above razma's building and now you can kill the residents for their armour. if early strenght armour is your care, dagon's dungeon is the best and the witch queen, since it is medium prefected strength buff and you can repair it with only leather, no bench required... says the nomad, speed running the game ;)
One thing I never understood about the games, why larger resolution users are further in the zoom of 3rd person? thats just cheating in my eyes. I cant zoom so far in third person, meaning ppl with larger resolution get advantage over others with it. Imo thats not fair at all and the zoom should be same for any resolution.

I love every video you upload, i’ve noticed u upload less often.. are you planning to quit Conan like everyone else? 😨 Also crafting 15-25 brimstone golem heads will get you to level 60 in 10-15 minutes. Only time consuming part is getting blood crystal for the first golem heads and brim for brimstone golem head.
I dont know how long ago u made this video but past week this hasnt worked on 3 diffrent officials ive been to only the golem heads work now the other things dont gives shit experience now..
The golem crafting still works but farming the flowers and black ice dont at least not for the last 3 official servers ive tried the last week ive had to resort to golem head lvling😂
I covered that method towards the end of the video. It’s super fast once you have the materials, but farming the mats if you’re fresh on a server will still take some time~ I’m gonna try it next and see how long it takes for everything.
Conan could have been great but they dropped the ball. +10k hr player here.Even dogs of the desert training server has become difficult to find a player without Q-Lock hack
The golem method is gonna get patched eventually, it’s only a matter of time. Those 10 minutes will be the only way to power level after. It’s the only method that has survived the test of time.

Just gotta increase the FOV on your game settings to achieve that zoom out effect. You don’t need higher res to be able to do it.

I recorded the golem crafting tutorial on Tuesday (7/16) and it still worked on single player.
you should go TAR instead of brimstone, knock couple of sorcerys and u get the tar for almost free :D
