Things I like in the 2011 version: Killua looks more hotter. Leorio looks less like a 35 year old. Gon looks his age. Animation. Everything that is Kurapika.
These are little things that the first version added to the characters and I absolutely love every single moment. Hisoka was particularly adorkable really.

Even after speedrunning hxh 2011 in like three days, i have to say the humor is superior so far in '99. For one, the characters interacted with one another a hell of alot more. That makes the audience more invested in side characters, as well as make the world feel alive. In 2011, no one interacted with each other so who would give a fuck when the ants killed hunters from the exam?

Even after speedrunning hxh 2011 in like three days, i have to say the humor is superior so far in '99. For one, the characters interacted with one another a hell of alot more. That makes the audience more invested in side characters, as well as make the world feel alive. In 2011, no one interacted with each other so who would give a fuck when the ants killed hunters from the exam?
