yea.. same soo. i might have to purchase new mounts.. im leaning more to the ones with the recoil pin.. and probably a 1 piece mount.. and suggestions.. and i am not willing to pay a lot for them

hi i am from india, i bought breal barrel rifle wich doesn't have any thread to mount a scope. its a spring piston rifle, so i am afraid to make even a small hole on it. Is there any idea to mount scope on it? Plz let me know.
Using degreaser on all surfaces to prevent slipping from spriggun firing is important too.

Same scope I got it is well worth the money, I got enough room to have the visor on the front of it on my rifle though because its a long tube break barrel
Can anyone help me, I've always used iron sights, I want to buy a 4x32 scope. I have a gamo shadow 640. My question is, will I have to remove the iron sights on either end of the barrel if I want to mount a scope
The top screws should be torqued to 18 inch lbs. Inch not foot lbs. Too much torque will crush the tube.
Wheeler Fat Wrench is a very good piece of kit to have.
You should use a torque driver really to screw in the mounts and rings, don't over tighten them.

For a .22 air rifle, it will work.
For a .177 air rifle, it won't.

What if your springer doesn't have a hole or a stop, but just the grooves. Then what do you do for a mount?
Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. Centered vertically true to a plumb line with the crosshairs which is always a plus!It's a great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!

Is it normal to see the crosshairs of the rifle down the barrel in the eyepiece of the scope when at minimum zoom? It disappears when at maximum zoom though. Also, should i position the scope as much backwards on the rail as possible or as much forward as possible? Thanks!

.177 air rifle by using the scope of 3-4x40 Gamo and I m getting trouble to Mount the scope on 3/8" 11mm Rail some 10 to 15 shots of pellets the scope is coming backwards on the Rail so if have any idea to fix the properly than please tell me sir thanking you sir

Do i have to take the top part of the scope rings off becuase i found this scope in my house but the screw on the top part of the ring will not come off.
I bought a centerpoint 4-16x40 scope but i cant find a piece to adapt it with my air gun rifle since the scope comes with a 3/4 dovetail ring and mine needs a 3/8 and to be higher so the objective lens dont touches the barrel on my rifle pleaseee some help???? :/

Hi, my rifle has 11mm rails on the top, Ive ordered a scope that comes with 11mm weaver rings, will it work?
I've got the Ruger AirHawk and every scope i try to put on it flies off after 3 or 4 shots

The mounting seems always problematic on a springer most of all. They really need weaver mount only, but what do most off them put, the old half useless 11 mm dovetail!!! So then you have problems with the scope removing itself. HOW do you tell a scope wont shake itself to pieces before you attach it?
Good reason to buy from Walmart; take it back if the scope won't mount - professional said the rifle is "defective"!

I’ve being using Airsoft scopes on break barrel .22’s for decades without issue. Where he gets the idea the spring recoil will break the scope is nuts.

+DeMarkus crespin Hi mate. Well, every airrifle reacts different to ammunition. There are various waights of diablos avalable. If the diablo is to lightwaight it often spreads, if it is to heavy it drops really fast. Also every airrifle likes different amunition. You should try different waights and shapes of ammunition.
+Crazy Swiss hey, I have the same problem. I have a crosman f6 or f3 I forgot lol. and I bought two types of pellets and when I aimed directly in the middle of the target, both of my pellets went to the side. PLEASE HELP ... AND I KINDA DRY FIRED IT ON ACCIDENT. MY AIR RIFLE IS A NITRO PISTON BTW.

@Albeastii you sound like me man a few weeks ago. same thing was happening to me. if you have a crack rifle then you need a special air rifle scope. i bought a shitty 10 dollar one and it was deadly for a while and then i would shoot good and then it would fuck up. your scope is broken because of the recoil you need an airgun scoope

+Stefan Tutorijali I mounted my scope with wire, zip ties. Works good enough for plinking.
+Stefan Tutorijali check if there is a special mounting option available. Making your own groves or zip wire is really not an option, due it will never be straight on the gun and you will never be able to shoot any accurate.
+Crazy Swiss i have a freezer stocked squirrels that are a result of mzy zip tied scope on my junky, chinese air rifle. I dont hit em all, but im pretry sure that is my fault and not due to the zip tied scope.
its not ideal, but its the only sensible option i had n its working fine (better than i expected).
You need to shim the rear ring.

I use a 3-9x40 Mil Dot Nikko Stirling MountMaster AO... It's at a good price, you can order it from Ebay or go for the more trust worthy option and get it off Amazon.. Or you can go to your local rifle shop and get it a more expensive rate.. Good scope...
