Dude, I just want to say that both this and your Cybergrind WR got me to rethink both how i play, and how i feel about using the standard nailguns and alt shotguns thanks.
Extremely impressed at the level of skill demonstrated in this playthrough! Very hype to see how much better you've gotten at the game even since the Cybergrind WR video; always room for improvement huh? Also very cool to see someone of your level using the alt Core Eject; very early into the release of the Full Arsenal update I had a few people telling me that they were refusing to use it because of very specific sacrifices in terms of functionality, though a few months and a very special patch later, it appears to be the meta for Cybergrind and other somewhat combat-focused styles of gameplay. I should also mention that your world record video actually encouraged me to start using the default Attractor and Overheat variants, and I honestly don't know if I'll ever switch back, they're just so convenient to me, and so much more worth it than the extra DPS from sawtraps imo. Happy to see how dedicated you've been to this game and can't wait to see how you fare in the upcoming layers as well as UKMD, hopefully it'll be worth the wait!
yeah, always something you could do better :) I was one of those people that didnt want to use alt core either. In theory and concept, it seemed super cool to me, but my binds simply couldnt sustain having 2 hammers and one shotgun. However, when i made heavy changes to my binds (var 2 is mouse5 on my mouse and var 3 on r), i realized that i could comfortably use the "On swap to First variation" setting since i didnt have to worry about pressing the same button to switch weapons anymore. So yeah, at some point during that, i decided to try alt core eject and it quickly became one of my favorites. Very powerful, versatile and convenient, something that standard core eject simply lacked. also glad to hear that i could motivate you to use nailguns. Thanks to jumpstart, nailguns are kind of in a controversial spot lol, whereas in previous patches you were seen as a deity for using them amongst the crowd. However, im happy being able to just use them as they are and to coincidentially convince someone to learn them over sawblades. thanks for your words, now we will all wait for fraud lol
