I always like to glance over my right shoulder before joining a dual carriageway and not rely on mirrors alone, and definitely a left shoulder check at 3.37 incase there's anything coming from Bedlington direction faster than me.

To go towards B1331, would it be sufficient if we pick the left lane after exiting A189 and stick to the left lane or should we do continuous mirror checks even if we stick to the left lane from the A189 exit to B1331?
@@arun1paladin going that way, either lane and mirror checks. Moving back to left just after the Ashington exit (if you were in the right hand lane). Ignore the bare right instruction from the sat nav. It's misleading.
