Endlers can breed with guppies and the Endlers have the more dominant genes is my guess. I have the had the same experience with using a mix of "feeder" guppies, fancy guppies, and Endlers. The overall results can be awe inspiring in terms of colors and patterns considering they would be "mutt guppy hybrids."
I love your channel ❤️ thank you for sharing so much good info. I recently got into this hobby and would love to hear from you about how you would stock a 3.5 gal. Specifically, I got a Back to the Roots water garden tank and I’m at a loss as to how to prep it. Thank you!
Can you give some pointers about how to determine tank size? People will say “keep up to ten of species x in a ten gallon,” but is that alone? How do I adjust if I want to add tankmates?
Can you clarify, you mention the green rasbora, saying 5-6 in an 8-10g tank. But the video you are showing has 5-6 but other fish as well? What size tank are you showing in the video? Does that mean you can have more than 5-6 if it’s the only fish in the tanks. I really enjoyed your video, thanks.
I’ve been wanting long finned white clouds for awhile now. (Not on the list but just sayin’ lol) haven’t seen any locally. Have a 10 gallon ready to go, hoping to get some of them and a betta together? Did I see a video in which you kept them together?
After browsing flip aquatics for awhile, like you suggested, I stumbled upon these great little nano fish, which they classify as ‘micro’ fish. The Toucan Tetra. Could you by any chance put them in one of your videos? Between Prime Time Aquatics, Aquarium Co-op, KGTropicals and Girl Talks Fish I haven’t heard a single person mention them, let alone mention them as a good fish for a nano tank even though they get only about 3/4” and they seems to come from the same types of black water streams that all these other tetras come from so I think they have the same water parameters for the most part. They look like cute little fish but I’m wondering why nobody has ever brought them up before. You do such a great job with your videos and with the species profiles on PTA I was wondering if you could cover these little gems sometime. Are they hard to care for? Why has nobody mentioned them?😢 thanks. #LOVEYOURVIDEOS!
There were more endlers than guppies in your pond because the endler males are typically smaller and faster than guppy males because of their smaller size and shorter fins. So more endlers bred with the female guppies and endlers. Guppies and endlers are technically 2 different species, though they can interbreed/hybridize. Most endlers in the pet trade have already been mixed with guppies, unless they are labeled N class and have paperwork to prove they haven't been mixed with guppies.
You have that teacher vibe going on. Wouldn't mind being kept behind after class lol. Sorry miss, I seem to have got us locked in the cupboard. Nice tanks btw
Wit, information and cool mix of music ? Yep. Joanna must be on. Oh ya! Fishes too !!!
Thanks for talking about the rice fish! I can’t wait to get mine

Chilli Ras, Scarlet Badis, Pygmy Cory... ❤
Hi! ⭐️ Great list and video. I didn’t realize rice fish were prolific. Good to know!!
Well, quite widely available over in Japan I hear. ☺️
I have a 20 gallon with a big group of ricefish. I'm growing them out to put in my pond this summer.
Sweet! Now THAT’S something to look forward to!
Thanks!

Hopefully, you're not going to put a betta in that thing because it's closed off. Bettas need air to breathe.
I love those little pea puffers but are there different types that grow to different sizes? If so what kind stays small?

Great video! Does it take long for the ember tetra to colour up?
I’ve found that it can take a while - while they mature 😊
@@thesmallscape ok, thanks Joanna! ❤️

You should have gave a special mention to the scarlet badis

White clouds like it a little colder

I dint ask for *** but nice video tough ;)
Did you see that aquatop made a venti 2 gallon😃
That’s too small for anything. Even shrimp
@@theangleraquarist Its just ment for doing an aquascape ☺
Agreed, makes a great little water garden!
@@MattsAquatics perfect. That would look amazing!
Do you think that a heavily planted 5 would be big enough for 2 pea puffers? I’m decently experienced with peas as I have had one for 7 months
didnt work for me at five gallons. 15 gallons gave them more space
I would love to set up a nano 75 gallon tank with 1,000 green neon tetras
Oh gosh. Me too. Lifelong dream.

That makes sense! Thank you for the explanation! ☺️
Had one pea puffer in a 5g....never saw him, always hiding....ended up returning him back to my LFS...i don't recommend having just one
Shy little dude, huh?
@thesmallscape very shy...felt bad for him... But doing some research on them. It is recommended that they are in a group and not the only fish
💚💚💙💙
I found koi rice fish online that I really wanted but sheesh 🤑🤑🤑
Oh my gosh ???!!! Seriously?!? Me wannie!!!!!
@@thesmallscape maybe one day we can! Haha see you in an hour!
