I had recently picked up The Iliad to read and am so excited this video popped up!
This popped up as I picked up War Music by Christopher Logue, it’s an adaptation of the Iliad! I’m loving it so far, it’s beautiful poetry and I recommend it if you enjoy the Iliad :) I’ve read many translations/accounts of Homer for my degree, including the original Greek, but this is my favourite!
This is amazing. I just found this video, while reading my beloved Eluard. I decided go try his poetry in original, which is a struggle; this music helps. My God, you're brave with Iliad! 😊😍
Same! The Iliad is one dense mf, and I find it hard to read by itself. But when I put this playlist on and start reading I just get completely immersed in the story
