Art enriches the world by fostering empathy, sparking imagination, and provoking thought, ultimately bringing people together and offering solace, inspiration, and new perspectives. Great video and love the considerations that Jeremy has. Sharing cultivates a sense of interconnectedness and abundance, reminding us that the joy of giving transcends the fleeting satisfaction of mere acquisition of the ego.

There is no constant and comprehensive change, because generations are born and generations die. Art changes, of course, but it creates a balance but does not destroy corruption forever. Art changes those who want to change.

    A.
    Louisiana Musical Artists
such as local Louis Prima, changed the world with his swing jazz leading to become rock n roll with his genius innovator drummer, James Vincenzo Faraci would inspire a young fellow Louisianian, Domenico John Fontana, who then would become drummer to Elvis Presley on 500+ songs, then would inspire every drummer that heard Elvis Records such as Ringo Starr, and on and on..
    B.
Think of the culinary Arts of Louisiana as well, thanks to the pioneer Napoleone Bonaparte that took a swamp and made it into one if the world's most important gateway of culture.

I don’t think art changes the world as much as it responds to the world. 3:19

When you respond to the world and someone witnesses that I think that can change the world.

It’s a shallow form of salvation, more like a form of personal satisfaction. The reason the world is in such a mess, is because it rejects the truth of redeeming salvation.
Better is never good enough …

You're allowed with that perception, but I disagree. There are good artists and there's great artists, artists can't change the world on their own, they inspire the world to change... With all do respect, there are other better examples of artists than the ones you've mentioned who became the forefront of change, we should also be allowed to open the question what it means to be an artist and their medium

If one considers photography an art form, the photograph by Nick Ut of the girl running away from napalm bombing at Trang Bang changed the world as it galvanised the hippie movement and American public opinion against the war. Similarly the pairings of native Americans by george Catlin, the diagram of a slavers ship which showed the British public the cramped conditions on board, guernica..,, the issue is that todays art world is one of private galleries and museums that don’t engage with the public at large. Art in precious eras was often displayed in churches and was very public. It’s a thought provoking question and one that needs a panel discussion!
