    I've had cancer 3 times , which left me wheelchair bound and after 27 major surgies, so many medical problems. Watching these adventures are just great for me. I'd never be able to climb those stairs. So I travel in toe of your camera showing all thesebeautiful places of the world that I'd never otherwise see. Thank You for sharing your travels in this format I for one so very much appreciate it.

      Thank you. I'm medically ok now. I'm just not able.to travel to many of these places so seeing them on UA-cam is the next best thing. also she is doing the videos in a way that you almost feel you are right there with her. I very glad I came across her channel. I need to start my own channel maybe and vlog about my life. to show others you can overcome and beat cancer

    The smear on your forehead is holy ash called we-boo-thee. Primarily offered in Saiva sect of Hinduism, it signifies life's philosophy, "humans are mere mortals in this universe and they become ash like this and hence never be arrogant". When prepared and applied the right way, it allegedly prevents one from sinusitis troubles.

    This typical south Indian origin food is, amber coloured dumpling made of lentils and called va-dye. Accompanying amber coloured soup is a concoction of mashed lentils, cooked vegetables and an array of herbs plus spices and called sam-bar. Accompanying cream colour chutney is made of coconut and lentils. Another amber color pancake is made of rice called doh-s-aye. A special variety called "masala dosai' might contain a treasure trove inside made of mashed potato, chillies, turmeric and other spices.

    We lived in Kuala Lumpur for two years and visited the Caves with visiting friends and family many times. It always remained a wonderful experience. On our way back we used to buy delicious traditional Indian sweets at some of the many stalls at the bottom of the stairs. Your video brought back many happy memories!

    My my you have a beautiful eyes. You look like a doll. Whenever I go to Batu Caves, I like to feed to pigeon and koi fish. Then get some food from the food stall. I have been there on Thaipusam, to crowded. But you still can watch the parade from out side temple. And also they offer a lot of free food.

    You didn't go in the dark cave! It's cost money by it's totally worth it. To see a trap door spider in real life was surprisingly cool. Remind me of watching magic school bus when I was a kid. It also one of the most rare. If you are ever back in Kuala Lumpur it is worth the trip back to the cave to take the short tour in the dark caves. It's restricted to protect the animals so you have to go in with a little group and a guide you meet at the entrance where you pay.

    That's South Indian food: Dosa & Vada. Visit India, it's amazing, rich culture, colourful, interesting & less expensive. World's second largest English speaking country, one of the top country of UA-cam viewers, growth rate is also highest on UA-cam despite the fact that less people have internet access so far & highest young population.

    what you have got in your forehead is "viboodhi" it should be in the center of your forehead.
    or else 3 lines from left to right side..

    • @commenter7893
      @commenter7893 7 років тому

      3 lines?

    • @resourceserp
      @resourceserp 7 років тому

      yes 3 lines drawn horizontal, thats what he /she meant from left to right. Traditionally Hindus are very strict in following few principles, one of them is using their right hand, you dont serve, give anything with the other hand. so to draw three lines horizontally, you just dip your index,middleand ring finger in the holy ash and draw it over ur forehead (and it would be only left to right ) :)

    Since your visit here, a lot has chaned at the Bat Caves. The entire flight of steps on the steps have gotten a fresh coat of pain in rainbor colours. A major renovation exercise had bern carried out. New colourful stuctures have been erected up in the gaves as well as the ground level outside. You will be bewildeted and awed by the aesthetics of it.
    The Batu Caves site has been recognised as a World Heritage site. By carrying the renovation works, the temple authorities have run into problems with the country's aunthorities, overseeing the World Heritage Sites locally, for not obtaining any authorization.
